How long did it take you on this stump

I know this video is 2yrs old, but I just got mine delivered today and did a large stump. It did great. Definitely getting the hang of it. Needless to say, it’s definitely interesting since my tractor is a gear drive shuttle shift. I imagine it be a little easier with a hydrostatic tractor

I’m sure you know this by now, but for other viewers, if looking at the stump grinder from the rear, you really should only be cutting using the “6 to 9 o’clock” section of the cutter. That way, the reaction force of the carbides pulls the cutter DOWN into the stump, where the outer edge teeth can also cut, resulting in a stable grinder. If you cut using the “3-6 o’clock” section of the disc, the reaction force pushes the cutter UP and away from the stump, resulting in bouncing the grinder across the stump top. Knowing this, it’s better to really grind the right side of the stump down quote a bit before moving left, rather than trying to “plane” the stump evenly across the top. You’ll get a much smoother experience, with much less shock to the grinder and tractor.

Is the PTO Shaft suppose to be shaking that violently during cuttings?

I received mine about 2 months I also run it on my 1025r and it works great you’ll love it
