The 1963-B is a Barr note. According to United States law, the signature of the acting Secretary of the Treasury must appear on every piece of currency. During the final days of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s administration, his Secretary of the Treasury, Henry H. Fowler, resigned. Since no new currency could be printed without an acting Secretary, President Johnson quickly appointed Joseph W. Barr to this cabinet post. Since Johnson’s term was about to expire, Barr’s tenure would last only 28 days! It was the shortest tenure in the history of the United States Treasury! Notes where only produced for 5 of the 12 federal reserves. Nice find. Are you selling your leading 4 nines?

Just bought a 5c slot machine for $40, or I should say I bought the internal mechanism. Planning to restore it and if it will take a fake nickel that would be great, could print a bunch to have in a bowl next to the machine for guests to use as tokens.

Just subbed your channel. I’m just getting into currency hunting. Been CRH for over 20 years. Those coins can be hard to carry and exchange. What I like about currency hunting is how easy it is to exchange Paper money. I think the Abundance of K notes is probably a dump from someone who searches thousands of dollars and stacks them by federal reserve banks.

Remember, Web notes were produced in Series 1993 and 1995 as well as 1988A. The three from Series 1995 you found were not Web notes.

Congrats on the radar note! I’ve found some older series notes recently too. One being a 1969 series in good condition. Also a $20 star note with a 320,000 print run. Keep hunting and posting videos. 👍🏻

Nice finds. I found a 2013B series star note that is a duplicate and put it in the registry. Found my first radar note last week. Also a stat note with a 250,000 print run. Fun stuff!

00112233 is called a quad double btw (substitute any other numbers)

How old does a note have to be for you to keep?

You should wear gloves for that. Those bills have nasty stuff on them.
