This will be a very diverse channel. I intend to document as I build my house in Michigan, build outbuildings, plant trees and food plots and gardens and some permaculture, tree cutting, and general homesteading topics as my wife and I carve our homestead into the land. I plan to do some general craft and woodworking projects to get familiar with making and editing videos, so please bear with me as that is a completely new world to me. But with the variety of projects I will be doing, hopefully someone can learn from my success's and unfortunately my failures.
Cheap shower surround build
A brief overview of a under $200 shower surround build. Granted I had some items on hand so if you had to buy everything it would be closer to $250. Still way cheaper than a pre made surround and can be built to exact specs to fit your space. Yes, I know I spelled cedar incorrectly in the video!

upper cabinets in da barn
zhlédnutí 62Před 3 měsíci
A video with a rough overview on making and installing upper cabinets in my barn. Unfortunately, I lost alot of footage due to camera malfunctioning. I am switching to a different go pro now and that should fix that issue! I was up late editing, sorry if my odd attempts at humor is not funny. It is funny to me, but I am odd.
Overview of installing lower cabinets
zhlédnutí 233Před 3 měsíci
Made a quick overview of installing my lower cabinets into my barn. Only had about 4 hours available to work on project this weekend so a did not get to film all the details. But the finish on the countertop was a simple rub on oil finish. The cabinets are 24 inches deep and 3/4 of a inch shy of 8 feet as when I cut the plywood cases that size left the least amount of scrap. Thanks for watching.

Where do you buy the OEM seat covers? I can't find any.
You talked me out of buying one, thanks
In in norway they get big like REALY big easily 100 feet and they easily grow 4 feet a year and they self seed. In norway most forest's consist of norwegian spurce beacuse they out compete most other trees. in norway kids like to eat the new yellow shots, eat them before they get to hard, the shots have a bitter/Intresting taste
You're fast ! Thanks for the video, it might help me replacing the black plastic, I replaced the motor with out popping out the vent , and I can't get it back in place to align with the screw Holes,
I did it in 10 hours or so. I’m hoping the other side goes a lot faster.
THANKS, Now I can attempt to do the change. Great, to the point video. Greatly Appreciated.
Great Job!! Thanks for the video!
I wouldn't buy a new one, it'll probably just break again. Your fix is probably better than a new one.
That isnt your falt i v broken or should i day that the loaded bracket on my 3510 has broken twice on both sides It is a engineering problem and kioti redesigned the brackets and bucket ac Assembly in 2021 sp they you have it and i v contact thr corporate office and they refused to let me see a representative. I'm picking my tractor up for the fourth time of replacement of the bracket as you told me too hard on equipment that's three-quarter inch steel bucket assembly, and pistons blown out or bent before that bracket broke never buy, Coyote.
Great video! Do you have a hand drawn schematic of how you wired it from the battery, to the switch, and to the future sprayer? My Dad suddenly passed, and I am trying to troubleshoot how he had an airblast sprayer with solenoid valves hooked up. I didn't pay enough attention while he was alive. :( Thank you so much!
How do you pick which type of oil? I live in Tennessee Appalachia. Probably use the tractor more in the summer than the winter but I do use it in the winter as well.
10:21 - Mentions his choice of oil, 15W40 Diesel Engine Oil
Where do you get the gaskets from?
this is a very pleasing video. wondering how the Milwaukee held up over the dremel?
A la piedra sólida no le hace ni cosquillas
Where do i find this part please ive been looking everywhere
It's looking good
Your arsenal looks like mine! I have mine "hidden" as well. I like the use of the scrap and the trim you did. I have big pines on my property and will use one for the main beam. I like that you used a lot of wood from your property. On my solar, I underestimated what I needed for an invertor. I got a 2000watt and next time will get a 3000 or 5000. Good job and looking good!
Did you offset your seams on your headers or did you just double them up?
They were offset with seams directly above posts.
@luckyandy76 thank you for the reply
Wonder if anyone explored who made the clutch - and if there are other replacements from same or other manufacturers.
I honestly laughed out loud when you checked the other side of the 6x to see if the nail went through!! Thanks for the info. I finally bought some land and will start building in a month or so. I think I'm building a monitor barn, so I'll be checking your videos often.
Thats awesome. Congratulations on the land. Georgia is a beautiful state. My daughter lives in florida so I make the long drive through Georgia a couple times a year. Few things more fun than a building project. Only thing I dislike about building is paying the materials bill!
Question: Is Kioti any relationship to Kubota? Anybody know? Reason I'm asking is because I just replaced the front axle seal on a Kubota 3710 and be damned if it is almost identical to this Kiota. There's very little difference. It broke down the same way. The only difference I did was since it was just the steering seal leaking on mine, I took off the whole assembly from the bottom so I wouldn't have to break the hub seal. Oh, and Kubota has a big O-ring for the hub. I noticed that on this Kioti it didn't have one. Anyway, good job on this video. Very informative.
nice build!
I was about to go to a dealer, 45 minutes from me, changed my mind. Back to decide between NH, JD or Kubota. Kubota on top of the three.
It's funny, my Toro lawn tractor, does the same thing, but much worse, actualy got worse with time. Same pedal system. My 2003 Kubota 850 hours, still work8ng as new.
Is it normal for charger to go to 13.7 volts than after 4-5 minutes it goes to 12.6 for about 1-2 minutes?
I see you are in Michigan. Same here, North of Sandusky.
I am by Bruce Crossing over in the UP.
@@luckyandy76 You are up there. Been a long time since i have been in that way. 👍
Great job. In the process of a 5x5 on 12 foot 4x4s. Doing this alone so, Will be assemble walls and roof after standing base on stilts. With 4 wheeler and tow straps. Should make a video. LOL
Looking great! I made my countertop in my truck. It was fun. I like the way you made the cabinets. I just bought some land in Georgia, so I'll be using a lot of your ideas. Again, good job. What batteries are you going to use for your 12V?
I watched your video on the land, and look forward to watching what you create! For batteries I dont have the best batteries for solar, but i got a great deal from a buddy on odyssey batteries, i got 6 agm car batteries in exchange for a chainsaw carving. I like bartering, its tax free!
@@luckyandy76 thanks for watching. I'm going to build a house with a shed roof. Once I close, I'm going to start clearing and get to it. I use LiFe4 batteries in my truck. Been doing pretty good for 3 years. Bartering is always good. Can't wait to see you get your solar going.
This is the best video I found so I can see where the snap ring is. Thank you for the great camera angles and lighting. Excellant job.
Not surprising… the cabinet turned out great. The cedar ceiling boards have a lot of character… everything’s coming together! Very exciting time for you (and us watching too)! Thanks so much for sharing this with us. 😊 Better get a move on… will be time to get skip dog outside before you know it! Planting season! Thanks Andy. Derek & Michella Payne
Warm weather is coming, Just started all the Tomato plant seeds today. Thanks for the nice comments. I really appreciate it.
metal roof all . snow loads
when i added my collar ties , set them at 1/3 of the length ( ridge board to outside plate) just saying, not sure if i needed the xtra lngth. love your channel .. happy trails happy build.
Well I am ready to change my tractor's oil...I always say if a guy can do it then I know I can and this is way easier than I thought! Thanks! A 71 year old gal!
nice looks good time to get that wall hanger happy hunting
I appreciate the video. I was getting ready to hole saw a hole into the strut tower. Not really, but this video helped put me at ease about swapping the solenoid.
gonna need some good solid roof caulking around that cutout for leaks. Don't forget to clean that stove pipe out from on top of the roof each season with a chimney brush. Overall good job in my opinion.
Great job. Clearances to code are so important. Trust it will work well for you.
that place is gonna be toasty
Very cool idea and you used scrap. That's always nice.
I love your barn.
Thanks
Looks good. Would hate cutting a hole in my roof!! Good job and very informative.
Thanks, I was just rewatching your solar install videos as I am getting ready to order mine.
@@luckyandy76 That's awesome. I'm no expert, but email if you need any info.
Thank you for this video. You made this more clear than other videos I've watched. Same seal leaking on my CK3510.
Where did you get the picture from?
It’s probably not the popular favorite- but I like the way the strait side by side looks over the corners with the 45s. Great work as always! Moving right along you are! 👍 (That live edge trim is gorgeous!! )
Thanks, I really appreciate it. Things certainly feel like they are moving slow. This warm winter has been a blessing. Have a great day.
How have they been holding up?
Quick question, how much did you have in on the Epoxy and clear coat? And where do you get yours? Awesome job on coasters and the bench. /cheers
I bought a 80$ 1 gallon epoxy kit, 14$ worth of glow in the dark additive. I bought both items off amazon. I used teak oil on wood afterwards. I made 2 benches with the epoxy kit and still have some left over. Thanks, and have a great day.
Looking good let us know the outcome.
I'm jealous... Did you get an architect and engineer? How much?
Thanks, no engineer or architect. But now have a library of books with span charts, load ratings, weights, ect. I had to use books as the internet seems to just say hire a engineer anytime i googled a question. For price currently a little over 10000. And thats with using alot of home cut lumber. But also had to buy a variety of tools. I am hoping to keep it under 15000. But prices of everything keep surprising me. I have close to 1000$ in nails and screws. I never would have predicted that. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Awesome review- thanks! 👍
