DF95 Stand Modification - Update
An update to a previous video I did a while back, to improve the functionality and stability of the Josway Stand that comes with the kit - It will also work for the DF65 stand as well.

Thanks,great video.
where is the next video?
Can any one of you doosies give me some set up tips for a 95 ? I’m in NZ
Hi very nice idea! Where could we get le STL files for printing the brackets? Thanks
the two best tips were what signs to look for and what to do when you see them. main sail wrinkling and fluttering of top of jib.
Thanks for the beautiful video. Excuse my English. My DF95 stalls in a strong wind during a tack and I can't get it to accelerate. Can you give me some suggestions?
That was very helpful John..Thank you! *SUBBED* - Id like to know more about ballast weight on the keel. In Higher wind conditions would a heavier keel help stabilize the boat? What would be even better is if I could find a model that you are able to swing the keel but I cannot find anything RC that allows this. Thanks again mate from Western Australia.
Stupid question, !! but can you iron out creases in the Mylar sail, as i bugged mine up at the top, on an RG65, still sails fine, but looks horrible !!
Hi John I have watched all your videos and made a awesome stand with your tips😎 Question I heard u say in one of your videos. When down Wind set the jib past 90 degrees? You called it something and how far past 90 please? Brett
wASTE OF TIME
But where is Captain Eric?
Great demonstration on rigging of sails
Good day, you have a way I can contact you for some questions on these stands and vessels?
So this was a second layer of gelcoat (red) that was still wet?
Is the Yellow at the top of the sails Vinyl?
Great video!
No Shrouds on this boat. Can you still put and take the boat in the water, by using the mast?
Nice idea…but without the actual templates for the brackets, not really very useful.
How did you color your sail
Thankyou, great details shared. A question if I may. Please tell how the you created telltales. ?
Hey bud do you want to grow your channel?
Hey bud I just got a dragon flite 95 2021 and its looks great Im doing a unboxing and Im enjoying your vids gave you a sub and like bud!!
Excellent video John. Maybe a short video on good downwind technique. Thank you!
Thank you
Very useful! Thanks!
Thank you John for an excellent design which I've used for my DF65 stand - outstanding!
Where can I download the bracket generation files?
Where can I get the 3D printer files for the alternative cradle position?
No one ever explains how they clean the metal roller afterwards. Are they just thrown out?
You can clean the resin off with acetone before it cures, but if it's set it's very hard to clean them off.
Great video. Thank you.
Can you please explain about A,B,C and D rigs? What are they please?
its about the size of the sails A being the biggest sails
Quel diamètre de tube pvc avez vous pris pour faire cette modification
Great video John, be great when this whole COVID thing is over to see some of you guys join us in PE. We've got an enthusiastic bunch here enjoying our DF's a lot. Great little boat. Thanks
👍
So helpful thank you
We need more videos!
Awesome video I'm also new to the DF95 , your video's are so informative. Do you have measurements for the stand and bracket. Thanks allan , please keep up the video's *****
Thank you for this very informative video! Subscribed!
I'd love to hear more about Wind Tunnel Testing. Can you explain how this would work? I've pointed fans at my boat on a stand to see how the sails fill. I'm trying to imagine how you would measure the boat's reaction to adjustments under controlled conditions.
I am new to the DF95, and found this video very interesting. Do you have a drawing or template for the two brackets, and, if so, where could I obtain them? John B.
Thank you!
love the boat! thanks for the tip with the resin!
Very helpful.Thank you !!!
Great video John. Loads ofreally useful nformation. May I add one thing. The easiest way to check your rudder alignment with your fin is to hold the mast at the base at arms length and turn the boat upside down. You get a great line of sight and can spot any missalingment much easier
Ill try that thanks
Thank you for doing this video. I'm relatively new to DF95 racing and your insights are very pertinent
What the actual fuck was that?
With ya!~ WTF?? Some old school muther fuckers rite dar!~ LMFAO!~
What do you do to fix the "crocodile" skin?
I was having problems with this. They went away after increasing to 2.5% MEKP.
@@pzavada1 Thanks
I think you only need one minute of this.. after that it's boring.
Good video. Maybe change title to get more views.
