    Nice 👍 it all results into goals. Is your main goal to win CPT or EVO, then you have to switch to a top tier to make it easier ; if your goal is to have fun, be heroic and entertain your fan base, keep your iconic favorite character. Long live Chris T Ken and Luffy mika !

    That theory is amazing bro. Check this out. I play dragonball more than sfv right. I was on killsage's stream 2 days ago. I mentioned how i hate neutral in that game and agaisnt random people that do stupid shit i get hit alot and sometimes even lose! So i asked what can i do or why. And he legit replied just do stupid shit right back ! He said "be better stupid" lol. Idk if that makes any sense with this whole theory but it reminded me of it and him just saying that made total sense!

  • @ishdelacruz8356

    Try that playstyle chrit. I think it qould be successful honestly. I find more player been random but not random, Whiffing buttons and doing unreactable shit to get into the other players street fighters mindset will fuck with that. This is a Different kind of street fighter. maybe it shouldnt even be called that. That playstyle with some work i think would be great. It will certainly catch people off guard. Your fundamentals with random unpredictable shit would be great. Maybe thats what it takes for this game.

    Always like Luffy interviews. He's very calm and has a clear almost "scientific" point of view of the game. Sense of uniqueness: that's why I play Alex. Even not winning it's a great feeling. Kind of agree with your point of view on online cpt. I would say maybe just a 50 points reward or something like that. Thanks for the interview.

    Online cpt should just have fewer points 150 for the winner, Ranking events should have 300 for a win, Premier can stay at 750.

    I think online CPT should be it's own thing, with regional online champions that would eventually face off for a newly created low seed slot or two in Capcom Cup. It would open an indirect path to making it into Capcom Cup for online competitors, albeit a smaller one, and wouldn't interfere as much with the overall CPT ranking. Either that, or just double the points given at regional events.

    Great interview, Chris! Continue with indepth conversations because they are so important in the FG! I enjoy it so much! Congratulations and thanks for Luffy too. On the upcoming, open the discussion about the CPT points/online/off-line events with top players of others countries like Brazil or RD... I am from Brazil and see this aspect is strange and so weak here...

    About the recording 5 sequences point: there is actually an option in training mode to turn off the sequence number so u wouldn't know what sequence is playing. Just found out about this recently.

    • @CallsignJoNay
      @CallsignJoNay Před 6 lety

      Okyop Also when you set your dummy to playback recording there is a big option underneath to switch on/off "display recording playback info". That hides which number sequence is being played back. I can't believe a top player like Chris wouldn't know that. xD

    • @nyaanyaamewmew
      @nyaanyaamewmew Před 6 lety

      That option has only been added in AE. So if he hasn't used that feature much since then, he might just not know they've added that.

  • @NDAWELOL
    @NDAWELOL Před 6 lety

    While talking for the differences between Online and Offline play of SFV, you have to try to play the game on PC and then on PS4. I play SFV on PC and when I go to offline event on PS4 I can totally feel the difference, even dropping some combos because of that!

    • @MetalMaster101
      @MetalMaster101 Před 6 lety

      That's why all pros play on PS4 at home. It's the tournament standard. I play on PS4, and I'm sure PC is better. But if you only play in PS4 it's all you know, and you don't know any different if you never use PC. The PS4 version just feels normal because of that.

    • @NDAWELOL
      @NDAWELOL Před 6 lety

      While that is true, here we are discusing how different in a good way is SFV on PC over PS4. It is not like day and night between online and offline play but you can totally make a difference. So in the end if you want to play the game on its optimal way, PC is the way to do it.

  • @AppoSauce
    @AppoSauce Před 6 lety

    Chris, you need to cultivate A KILLER'S MENTALITY when you're playing. Embrace your inner Kobe and channel the Armenian Mamba. See every opponent as your equal, whether they're generally worse or better than you, and KILL THEM. Believing is half the battle. Repeat "I AM GOING TO MURDER THIS FOOL" before your matches and eventually you'll rid yourself of your insecurities. Good luck. Good interview by the way.
