If you look closely at 2:22, you’ll see that Aaron appears to actually be whispering something (look at his throat). Good acting choice, actually. Also wonder what it is he could be saying.

I had the role of Claude & 32 yrs later I still have my book with my script & the original poster we used. This show has such great music & it was a blast to Do.

The town I grew up in did a HS production when I was in 5th grade, they just didn’t sing Sodomy & kinda hummed the melody instead.

She's taking off her earring, I believe. Most of the women wore clip-on earrings during that era. The earrings would interfere with the phone receiver, so they would take it off.
