I think it was from CS Lewis I read the idea of something like god's help not being in the form of the problem's solution itself, rather the inner power or strength or motivation needed to find the solution. That's my intuition around it and its how my religiosity helps me. I don't see that that power can be found in some other way when you're already lonely or depressed, because those states make it impossible to keep on and go find it (don't I know it). I wasn't raised around religion at all so in recent years I've started to think I sorely missed out, but also have come to realise that I really actually do believe in Christ. ✝🐺

I deal with loneliness and I've been touch starved for a while...😞 I wish it was easy to not feel this way but I think I truly need that touch and connection with others. I have a church group I attend and have online friends but even I feel lonely despite having people in my life. I've been a fur since 2019 but mostly online. I wish to have more experiences with the community in reality but I feel stuck since I can't get anywhere with that. I have been a listener of furry asmr since 2020 as it was my only source of positivity to connect with during the virus and the endless chaos in the world outside. I still to this day listen to it as I discover more people like you! I love listening to people like you as one of the many people to turn to. 🥰

My front thru-axle was seized. It would unscrew from the rotor side, but the right thru-axle end cap was seized around the thru-axle so I could not pull it through the dropout. I worked on it a little each day and it took about a week to free. I used penetrating oil and finishline chill zone to no avail. I bought craftsman vice grips (the teeth wore down on harbor freight vice grips), half inch wooden dowel, hammer, flat tip screw driver, household ammonia (I heard it loosens aluminum oxidation), and of course ratchet set. I used the flat tip screw driver and hammer to create a little space where the outside dropout meets the allen screw head of the thru-axle. I then put ammonia in a spray bottle and sprayed the hell out of the thru-axle all over. I did this about every fifteen minutes for an hour (laid the bike on it's side on some blocks). I cut the dowel down to 8 inches with duck tape on one end to protect from hammer strikes and then hammered away. I used the vice-grip to clamp the thru-axle end cap which damaged the seal (worth it) and turned the thru-axle with the ratchet. It eventually came loose and I purchased a new thru-axle and wheel hub (used guts from the new wheel hub).
