RJ Watkins was the director of the Scene and after it ended in 1987 Rj created his own dance show which aired from November 1988 to May 1996. @@Caprice87 Seeing him mix would’ve made for some good shots on the show. Was the mixing booth in a separate room from the dancers?
The first 2 years the show aired RJ used nightclubs to tape the show so the DJ was not able to be filmed. Then when the show started filming at Key-WAT he was in a booth with the director. Jesse was also camera shy and didn't want to be filmed
