So, first time viewer... I saw the sick new DnD board you posed on IG and HAD to click the link in bio... I started with episode one...and had to stop.. the audio is so bad imo.. everyone has mic's but they sound like they're turned off.... the final audio used sounds like a voice memo recording from an iPhone in the corner of the room.... so I thought to myself, surly episode 9, has to have better audio.. nope... pleasseee fix it for the next campaign.. Imma Subscribe and ill be looking out for the new vids.. cheers (ps. also a camera on the board would be nice.)
Hey, thanks for commenting. Unfortunately, the sound quality in these earlier sessions (we have a pretty large backlog that we have been getting through) is about the best we can get it; we had not yet gotten the budget to sound treat the room and it is hard to reduce bg noise without a lot of compression when we don't have someone live-mixing for us. We've built a sick setup, sure, but the reality is we are just a bunch of college kids who don't quite know what we're doing lol. But thank you for subscribing and we hope to one day get to a place where we have the money to make our game as good as possible for y'all!
@@tbdnd I appreciate the reply! Def try some test videos on a burner account and listen on a laptop and in the car to get it dialed in... obvi 'critical role' audio is a great reference..(I know im not telling you anything you don't know) don't think you need a live mixer (you have great mics in front of everyone) ...just a better "standard" audio balance from the get-go would help.... I believe you have huge potential in a space where, well done and immersive campaigns online are few and far between.... you'll get it figured out... cheers!

Last I checked a table like that was around $10k so depends on how much money you put into DnD if it’s worth it
Everything you see (excluding the mics and cameras) only cost me about $2500. I made everything myself including the table. Its crazy how cheap it can be if you diy everything
@@tbdnd that’s amazing. Unfortunately I don’t have the skills to make a DnD table myself so if I ever wanted to get one I’d need to save up a LOT of money. That’s only happening if I get a long term group that isn’t moving away after college

That was evil Clerics in older editions…any healing or cure spell had an opposite, inflicting harm or whatever malady could be cured, the “inverted” spells were usable by any Cleric, but only Neutral or Evil ones could do so without consequence from their deity.

The fog on the table is just a humidifier so it only leaves a little water when it's been running long. The fog machine does leave some residue, but only right at the mouth of the machine
As a DM how do you focus on one? I have like five ideas for campaigns, they always come to me when I’m halfway through prepping one of them. Help!
