Ya lol, I'll have to go edit that, sometimes you just spend so long staring at a card and somehow still get it wrong lol. Thanks for keeping me honest. If you are going a more colorless build of this deck, urza lands are obvs a very good include I agree 👍

Does a card like the new kozilek , the broken reality, give herigast a modifier for being colorless? Or is herigast considered a red creature?
Herighast himself is a colourless creature so will work with the new kozilek. The only reason he can't be played in colourless decks is because he has red in his emerge cost (which changes his color identity to red but not the color of the card)

Nice, agree eldrazi titans are actually just kinda whack. Like, they're the kind of creature a hardcore Rick and Morty fan thinks is cool. Clones in red is so much more fun than blue.

Hi! Wanted to let you know that I LOVE this deck, and wanted to download it and give it a shot for cockatrice, but for some reason, most (121+cards) turn up unknown. Is anyone else having this problem?

@@commander_in_general ahh true, I didn't realize that! Funny enough, I've dedicated a couple hours to storyline my LOZ deck. I have Zelda as Sissay (so I'm available to ALL colors, and is literally the Legend of ZELDA) so I can have any theme (I chose Majora's Mask) but I'll make a vid or decklist and get back to you here!

This looks amazing! About a year or two ago I took my Galea precon (which was just kinda sitting around almost completely unaltered), and drew a little proxy with Link, so the fact that someone else made a Galea deck as Link is really cool. Though I don't have any of the Kaldra stuff and it was basically just the precon so I ended up using was the Holy Avenger for the Master Sword. I was also in the process of making up a proxy for that too, but never finished it cause equipment decks aren't really my playstyle. I've never gotten a Secret Lair, but promised myself that if WoTC ever made a LoZ Secret Lair. I wouldn't hesitate.
I doubt they would ever do a Zelda secret lair, maybe when the movie comes out? Otherwise they are way too protective with their IP
I'm only 5 minutes in, and if this was an actual option, I'd buy it today 😂 I haven't played MTG actively sonce 2012 when my collection was stolen, but this would probably pull me back in lol

Great video, seems a little light on repeatable dice rolling effects. You might not be able to generate enough tokens to generate a consistent board state
What would you suggest ? 🧐
Chaos dragon, maddening hex, the black and white dice rolling elder dragons, wand of wonder, strength-testing hammer, sword of hours, component pouch, any of the attacking d20 creatures in mardu
All of those I had considered at one point or another but I'm thinking I might add back in the component pouch and maddening hex. Thx for the suggestion 🫡
Hey! It's a crazy coincidence that I ran across this video, since I've also been working on a Legend of Zelda theme deck with Galea at the helm. One critical piece of advice I'll offer is to swap out Lightning Greaves for Swiftfoot Boots. Shroud means that the creature can't be targeted by *any* spells or abilities, including your own auras and equip activations, and that's no good.
Ya that's a very fair point. That's why In the final version of this deck I didn't end up playing them. I ended up just playing winged boots because I think the evasion is nice and they fit better flavor wise 👨🍳

They have been slow to get theirs together. In the future I would love to make a gameplay show but I think I'm pretty far out from that at the moment. The next theme deck I had in mind was a shovel knight theme deck built around the Sidar with Eminence

I did my own "Link" deck using Balan, Wandering Knight Weapons and gear, lots of weapons and gear. Able to be equipped in an instant ...I also play stony silence

Wow that's very kind. Ya they don't typically like to give out their IP too much. But who knows? Nintendo actually did start out as a card company way back in the day, so I could see it haha

That's a good point. I was excited about Cyberman Squadron because it's new and shiny and also it itself is an artifact. But ya legion loyalty would also be great 👍
Wyll and barbarian class don't necessarily double dice rolls. If an effect would have you roll 2 or more dice, you'd only get one additional dice for the roll

This deck tech is just supposed to give people ideas of ways they could build their own deck. I think you'll find that if you look at the cut version of my deck that the CMC is low and there is a good amount of ramp and lands. But thank you for the critique

Should consider cards like Memory Lapse. Protection and a way to steal an opponents big threat. Also Commandeer might be worth a slot. Basically free to steal a noncreature spell

Anyway, did some maths. You can get around with adding dice for quite a while. Your chances of rolling exactly seven sixes start slowing down at around 27 dice, and then max out at 42, then start going down. But yeah, rolling more than seven hurts emotionally.
