Axial Gear Shift and Dart Overview
Just found out about a fairly new gear company called Axial Gear. Just a quick overview of the “Shift otf bundle” they are doing a promo for for $199. The dart is not included, they sent that one to me for review. This is just a quick look at the package, I am extremely impressed. Took them right out of the box and turned the camera on, I couldn’t hold in the excitement!

Not super loud, only when you step on it and it’s still not terribly loud

I actually just switched up. Those were KMC enduros and now I have Tacoma trd off-road alloys on it.

How do you do the rear steer so that it isn’t connected to the front? I want individual steer like this set up! What remote, all the details?
Plug in rear servo to channel 2 on stock transmitter. Use channel 2 switch on transmitter for left or right

That thing would look great with some smaller scale tires such as the rc4wd Rock creepers or even the Wrangler MT/R's, it wld give it a more 1:1 look vs the Monster Truck look, Great Vid 👍🏼

I have the same wheel spacers u have and I was wondering how you tighten the hex with those wheels?
I created my own tool out of one that was a size too big and grinder it down and made it work lol

where did u get the truck and 4runner bodies?
Truck body is from a model kit, small 4runner body is from the kyosho mini z, and iceberg rc offers a 3rd gen 4runner body
very interesting. I am tempted to pick up one of their otfs

Hey bro just got one and looking to change out the body? How were you able to mount them to the spare tire mount and where did you get it? I’m kinda confused of how you switch bodies to easily
Magnets on the front mount. And the spare tire carrier came with the mini z 4runner body. I use the spare tire as a body clip pretty much

How is the decased esc attached? I got a toyota body for Christmas so im trying to figure out how to mount it above the motor because I have a lcg battery tray. Your build looks sweet btw!

Magnets helped mount it up easy. It’s not exactly scale but it’s what I wanted.

Just waiting on some Emax servos to do rear steer on my long wheelbase Deadbolt. Very sick build!
