Growing up as I did fatherless, Mr. Rogers became a healthy, hopeful part of my life, for my own generations to come.
I miss fred so much I see him in my dreams and he looks the same and sounds the same 😊
I am so grateful and honored and thank you Lord for the spirit you placed in Mr Rogers to touch every life not just life even leaders even families kids
I grew up watching Mr Rogers
Loved Mr Rogers!
I watched the Netflix documentary about him, and after watching it, I said to myself, "That's what I would love in my future husband, a genuinely kindhearted man, i can dream 😊
I wept at the end of this. thank you for making this.
He is not famous in my country. But I wish the people like him would be in my country. Thank you for your post.
Thank you for this tribute. It's good to know that he is still appreciated by so many.
12:44 Umm... That's the wrong tombstone. Look at the dates. This might have been his PARENTS, assuming he was born before 1926.
Thanks! Sorry I made this for a high school project years ago, probably missed that detail

Great documentary! I was the child that grew up with him and learned how to be a good and kind person! Mr Rogers would be proud of you for this documentary!
love that bird dog i have a english setter
wow this was edited and narrated very well
And in this day and age a wonderful human being who stayed a wonderful human being. These days you can't trust our current celebrities to be who they say they are but with Mister Rogers he is who he says he is ---we need more men like him everywhere especially in the government and on t.v.Sorry-- can't say enough good things about him!
I grew up watching Mister Rogers. Like many who watched his show, I was sad when he passed away.
Thank you for putting together this documentary! What a blessing Mr. Rogers was and most definitely still is as he leaves a legacy of encouragement to not only children but also to adults. Fred Rogers' had gentle strength and purity of heart. He embodied the true masculinity that is so lacking in our culture today
This is amazing
This is beautiful! Thank you for making it!
Great job. I always wondered what his deal was growing up watching his TV show as a child
Nicely done video! Thank you for making this!
Great video! Thank you for making this.
Thank you so much for helping to keep the legacy of Mister Rogers. You're a good neighbor.
My friends lived in a condo in Delaware just south of PA in the early 80's. We were young, long haired, hung over, dead heads in tie dyed t-shirts that smelled like beer and cigarettes and stuff... We did know that Mr. Rogers also lived in the condo. We were going out early one morning to buy some smokes after an all night party, and then Mr. Rogers got on the elevator and said, "Hi kids. It's a nice day, isn't it?" He asked how we were! My buddy and I looked at each other through our blood shot eyes and all we could say is, "Yes, fine, Mr.Rogers!" "Have a nice day." He said. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! HE NEVER JUDGED US AT ALL! He was really, really that cool! Hung over, dead head hippies like us could be loved and accepted! WOW!
NR RODGERS LIVED IN DELAWARE!!?! I DO TO jf not im dumb
Did want to change your ways after that?
@@andrewpowell1734 No, he saw us as being just fine the way we were.
@@johnloftus I think that if Mr. Rogers saw me high or drunk, I would want to change.
God bless you, Mister Rogers!
I never knew of this guy till recently, and he definitely seems to pull heartstrings. Im from the Uk which is probably why I never knew of mr Rogers. We need more people like him to teach stuff to modern children, all they have is watered down stuff like Peppa Pig to watch.
I'm glad that you've discovered him. Please remember that he ALWAYS sang "it's a beautiful day in THIS neighborhood", NOT "THE neighborhood". The people who seem to remember him singing "THE neighborhood" are simply remembering it incorrectly.
Lol I was watching this with my sister and she kept going “peppa pig! I wanna watch Peppa.”
we had sesame street for a while..
What I've always loved, and miss about Mister Rogers was how he helped children make sense of what's going on in the world around us.
Mr.Rogers is a wonderful man.I grew up watching him and was one of my best friends even though I never met him.I cant believe the BBC doesn't want him in England. His shows are a little dated by now but his message is eternal and all children should know it--" I like you just the way you are".☺
This is great! Why isn't there more views! Keep going girl!
Fred was a great man. I watched the neighborhood every day up to about age 10
mr rogers claasc from 1976
