How much is it?
This is a contest. There's no fee to enter.
Does the show need to have only one host? Or is it only by show idea over all?
Great question! You can submit as many show ideas as you'd like and there are no restrictions around the amount of hosts or team members for a project.
Is there a way of using all these audio processing without one of the rodecaster's? I already have a good mic and another audio interface but I would like to process the audio without spending an extra €400-500 on a gadget only for the live streams. Can you suggest an alternative solution using software?
Great question! If you're using XLR microphones, you'll need to connect them to some kind of mixer. It could be a Rodecaster Pro, a Focusrite Scarlett, a Behringer... it's up to you. The mixer helps you control all of the settings for the microphone. If you have a USB microphone, then you control all of those settings digitally using software. The RCP isn't a gadget for live streams. It's a full audio mixer. That's why it's so expensive.
@@EcammLive Thank you for the quick response! I am using the Focusrite Scarlett solo 3rd gen. interface with an XLR mic and the Focusrite comes with some downloadable software (EQ and compressor plugin for Ableton Live) but I don't know if I can use those with Ecamm. Any thoughts?
The short answer is no. Ecamm doesn't have VST audio plugins (yet).

Hello Cliff, we are using Dazzne D50 Video Lights to light up the green screen as shown 11:30, and the main key lighting is a combo of an Elgato Key Light on the left and an Aputure COB light on the right as shown 6:00

There is one issue I'm hoping you can help me with; when I add an Insta comment to Ecamm, the actual text appears, but instead of a name and avatar of the sender, I get the words "Instagram User" each time. Is there something I need to include to activate that final step? I'm sending a "Thanks" gift for your very helpful videos, regardless.

I believe Scott created that in a tool like Canva or Adobe Express. You can drag and drop any background (image or video) in as a background in Ecamm.
Yes, I mentioned on our other comment too. This was done from a purchase and I customized it myself specifically for a late night show vibe. Just search on studio backgrounds on line and you'll find all kinds of options. :-)

Hey there, I'm the one in the video doing the case study of my show, it's not as hard as you think it might be. I watched a few tutorials, and played with it for a little bit and was able to do it pretty fast, it's definitely worth it, really makes a difference. :-)

If you are filming an in studio podcast with multiple people - Are you able to switch between cameras automatically triggered by who’s speaking, if you have multiple mics for each camera?
That's not a feature we offer for in person recording options. However we do have an active speaker option through our zoom integration.

Great walk through! Thank you! I was using the zoom integration to teach my virtual classes. This makes me nervous because we watch videos during our classes, have class discussions, I share my screen during class and I could potentially have up to 15 people per semester. When I use sound effects, I need the participants to hear them. None of that was covered here. I also don't know what the audio settings should be. Do you have a video for instructors and users that will have more than 8 participants? I have 2 zoom accounts. One account for my business and the other account is with the university for my classes. Not sure how to navigate that yet, will try and see what happens. I love ECAMM LIVE and have been using it for years now but this make me nervous because I can't seem to find any information on this particular use case. Until, I do I have to change my whole class delivery format. Can you please do a video demo for instructors or teachers that teach online classes? Anyway, great programming as usual and she is such a great teacher!! 🙏 Thank you!!
Hi there! Yes, you can definitely do all of that with Ecamm for Zoom. The best way is to practice. EFZ automates everything for you so any sound effects, videos, etc that you play in Ecamm will carry through into Zoom automatically. Hi Marshall, I appreciate your tutorials. I'm having a hard time getting my Canon R6 MII to focus on my face, which I believe you're using. Would you mind sharing AF Servo settings. Please help!!
If I remember correctly, Marshall is using a Canon M50 Mk2. So I am not sure his settings would be as helpful. If you haven't already, try searching face tracking tutorials, or asking in our community (www.ecamm.com/community)
