Does it have to be wool? Also, do you pre-shrink all the fabrics?
You could use tweed or heavy cotton if wool is not available. It's just wool gives better pressing results. I honestly didn't bother to pre-shrink my fabrics. I hope that helps ❤️

Thank you so much. The fabric I used here is from a bedsheet 😅 because during the time I was making this, the movie was about to come and pink gingham fabrics are out of stock everywhere. Plus I found the quality is thicker. Hope that helps 😘

What kind of material do you use?
Hi, I used felt fabric from a craft store. You can buy it by yards or you can get them per A4 size. I get the A4 usually with more colours.

Great video. The only problem with using rice is that it attracts mice into your house. It happened to me with a phone stand that I made filled with rice.

Excellent. I used another Gertie pattern for the top. Now I just need to figure out how to add a bust dart because it is gaping. Lol😅
That's great! If you are referring to the pattern with the princess dart, that was my first option too😂 but I struggled with the bust area as well😂 I've done this one before and I know this fits around my bust area so well so I went for it😁

It’s a little hard to follow the tutorial on such a busy patterned fabric. A little more instruction/explanation would have been helpful. Sometimes it’s as though she is just reading the instructions.

Yes, we call it eggplant in the Philippines too! But when I migrated here in the UK, I was really shocked it is called aubergine 😂 had to learn a lot of other new words too 😂
