I like the scenes you’ve painted. It brings to mind Alison Jay’s Picture This book, which is a children’s book that has different scenes in it, but each scene has one element from the scene before, translated into something else. So the scene with a giant apple and a worm wearing a hat might be followed by a scene in which there are apple trees in the background, for instance, or a scene of a store which is selling apple jelly and hats. One scene relates to the other in unexpected (or mundane) ways that are fun to discover.
