When you’re the GOAT you don’t need to say anything

It took me a very long time to finally hear this version. I knew it had existed for a long time, but for whatever reason it evaded my ears until the age of social media came into being. My take… not bad. I’m actually quite relieved it doesn’t sound exactly like the Damned’s version. It’s its own thing, as it should be when played by the person who wrote it. I won’t lie though. I’m always going to prefer the Damned’s take on this to any other version… but this is very enjoyable and interesting.
