hello! i dove at salem express once, my captian was actually very superstitious about anchoring close to the wreck, so we were the only boat that anchored further from it and had ot take zodiac to the spot. It was very eerie and very emotional, i didnt dare to penetrate that deep into the ship, be it out of fear and out of respect aswell. however, to anwser your question - yes, no all bodies were recovered due to the complexity and size of ship i assume+not enough people that are capable enough to dive in overhead environment? Leader of my dive club is a really skilled cave diver and tech diver, and he wanted to check out passenger cabins and claimed to see some remains vaguely, however that might be tall tale, ill let you decide wether to believe him or no :D However, i do believe his version. And it is approx in 30metres underwater, which is around 100 feet :) (sorry if my english is clunky, not my first language)

As the Salem express is declared as a grave there are still lots in bodies (bones) inside the wreck. But the areas where the bodies are is closed and not reachable. W

Yes I feel different diving the Salem express. You feel some energy in my opinion

I saw a clip also from there, where a similar person said that he heard voices, and it always seemed to him that someone was behind him.

I had OWD, Nitrox and AOWD when I was there in September 2021 with Wonderful Dive. It was my 46th dive but can't remember what was required. I think AOWD is required because our max depth inside the ship was 25m and OWD would only allow 18m. Don't know if there is a number of dives you have to do before. But if, then it is maximum 30, because 50 was not required for this dive as I only had 45 before this dive. I was inside the load room and the restaurant, but a special wreck certificate was not required. It was a guided dive and I was quite a bit nervous before because I did not know what to expect, but when I was in it was fine and I felt I had enough space. But it was a good feeling I was able to make a buddy team with our dive guide as I was alone on this trip - friends did not want to go because of 2 hours car drive and 2 hours boat trip and the others had their buddies. But the advantage was that I was the first diver behind the dive guide and he showed me where to look with my torch to have the best experience.
