I had to watch it four times to fully comprehend all the datails. Too much work, but definitely worth it. I wonder whether it wouldn't be better to weld it straight to the bars rather than using screws. It'd be a lot easier.

Haha A LOT.... it's wildly over-engineered, and I mean that in the best way. Materials alone, at least $5000. Add in artistic touch and custom product, I'd be surprised if it was under $10000.

Tens of thousands of dollars in tools, nearly welding a set of Knipex pliers, along with the fancieest silicone spreading tool I've ever seen, but when you pulled on it at 13:47, that's the point in the journey where it was all worth the expenses put into it along the way. Beautiful piece.

Hello, I loved your project, I'm a design student who loves woodworking, could you show us how you did the heating the wood part? And what type of wood was used?
Looks like it could be white oak with maple inlay?? Also, he steams the wood and then bends it carefully around a jig he made especially for this type of work. It's clamped to the jig until dry where it maintains the shape.
Perhaps you should make an adapter for a second roller on your Smart Wheel clamp.
