Don't even understand why these bozos come to the strip. We get it, you bought a super quick golf cart. You've done nothing to it ta make it YOUR car. In fact, they can completely disable "your" car with the push of a button. Nobody is impressed, people would rather watch two 19 second shitboxes that someone BUILT putter down the track than watch a Tesla. Drag racing is about who BUILT the faster ride. That, along with the driver's reaction time/skill are what make drag racing so fucking cool.

Hahaha, I love it when someone in a modified car with a huge power adder "nitrous" races a completely stock car driven by an idiot who is absolutely asleep on the tree, then when they win they claim the other car is slow. No stupid, the other driver is slow. The plaid consistently runs in the 9.2's with a good driver. Some "modified" plaid's with only weight reduction run in the 8.9's. I will admit that your heavily modified Redeye runs a respectable number but you shouldn't be disingenuous and claim the Plaid is slower, granted the Plaid driver is definitely slower.

Definitely loosen the top *before* you drain the fluid in case your top plug sticks/breaks and you can't refill the unit. That or, the Royal Purple is great, too. Their MAX ATF is the best thing for your transmission (auto & manual) that you can add. Really smooths out the "notchies." I'd put some *orange* thread locker (much stronger than blue but easy to break loose) on the drain plugs and let them sit while the fluid is draining, just to help against vibrating loose (that's what the factory does). And it's *2.3 pints* or right about *37ozs* or 1 quart plus 5ozs (technically 4.8) of fluid capacity for a dry fill. If the vehicle is level and the fluid is just dribbling out, that's full. Don't try and put too much in or you can damage seals, especially in the transmission which is filled the same way.

Thanks Chris, bmr cradle lockouts installed. Would like to say I had a great time, but it was only fun. Getting the cradle to line up again took the great time out of its now waiting on the 4" aluminum drive line from dss. July 5 th hopefully this is the last drive line.

I see the Redeye made the pass in just over 9 seconds. I own a Redeye and it is about a 10.5 second car consistently. Even my car would have beaten that plaid. The excuse that it was 46% charged??? If you want to race you better be ready to run PERIOD. First rule of racing, be ready to RUN.

I'm going to do mine this Thursday because I'm putting in a aluminum after market drive shaft and they require a cradle lock out for warranty. I habe a dumb question! Is the jack supporting the rear differential to lower the cradle!

I’ve seen hundreds of Tesla blade launches and that was not a plaid. Also, if you watch the cat, it doesn’t lift the tires and it doesn’t have wheelie bars. So I’m pretty sure that was a bogus race.

Nice challenger… it’s got a lot of help… sticky track, sticky tires, nox… it’s definitely fast. But over 90% of drag racing happens on the street… a Tesla plaid will stomp that cat in the street. The cat needs all those assistive devices just to beat a stock Tesla… and the Tesla is a daily driver…
