Exhaust Setup: 1. Texas Speed 1-7/8" Long Tube Headers & Off-Road Connection Pipes 2. Ford Racing X Pipe 3. No Mufflers 4. No Resonators 5. Steeda 409 stainless steel tips (I'm actually not 100% what qualifies as straight pipe, but to me this setup I had was straight pipe being the long tube headers eliminated that cats)

Not a dumb question at all. I'm going to assume you still have catalytic converters because from what I was told those are near the front of the car near the headers. So things that would increase sound for you from my perspective: 1. Catalytic Converters are currently dampening your sound removing those in the dumbest roughest estimate I would say it would increase your sound by 5%. 2. Off-Road Long Tube Header not only remove your cats ("off-road" is the key term for cats being removed") , but if i understand correctly they optimize the exhausts fumes ability to exit the car quicker. Which typing that out doesn't sound that big of a deal & i'm sure there's a lot more i'm missing, but when I say adding those long tube headers changed my life i'm not kidding. Every exhaust video I watched growing up as a kid? Those long tube headers scratched every bit of that itch i've ever had excluding one other tiny itch being a slow loping cam, but I definitely didn't have the funds for that at the time plus the S550 models aren't able to get a true cam (hopefully someone that actually knows cars can verify me on that). I didn't want to go near the ghost cam anyways because i wanted a genuine cam to be my first experience with aftermarket cams

@@DocterKanklethat’s sick, I have a 2019 s550 as well, but did you have to get a tune for it after u got the headers installed with cat delete, and how much would u give an estimate would it cost to get used long tubes with no cats and a tune?

@@DocterKankle damnnnnn and they say my shit is loud only difference is I still have mufflers and have been joking contemplating getting my mufflers removed but thought it would sound like shit, but tbh this sounds amazing 😂😂😂 I might actually do it. Just the cold start is already loud asf can only Imagine what it would be like then

I am such a fan of loud raw exhaust. This was my first time experiencing catless longtube headers 1st hand & I was absolutely blown away. Any exhaust mod from here on out for me, will always start first with catless long tube headers immediately. I was in love the second I heard it, it was magical to say the least!

I can't remember I want to say it was aftermarket, but if so, that was done by previous & i cannot remember

If there was noise it wouldn't be anything but music anyways, but I completely agree with you on the morning times. If I was you & I had the budget, I wouldn't be ablet to help myself in trying exhaust cutouts. I really wish I was able to give them a go.

Unfortunately not. I wish I did. One day in the future I'll own a C7 Corvette, & I'll do the same thing with it but I will also add a different cam shaft & experiment with different timings if that's even possible. I really love the sound of large engines displacement & slow loping cams. It's a vibration that touches my soul!

@@tonynguyen9728 Magnaflow neo/active valves with 2 bolt pipes instead of cats. i did a video on it if u wanna check it out

It was not bad at all to me. It could be partly my attention span , but I never remember acknowledging the drone while driving until people bring it up. At 0-70mph is the range it would start. This was my daily driver also & the only regret I had was not doing it sooner. From every purchase I've made in my life to this date , this is EASILY in my top top 10. It's an absolute given for me now no questions. I really want to get a C7 Corvette & do the same settup so bad I can't stand it. 1. Install Long Tube Headers 2. Mufflers = Trash can 3. Resonators = Trash can 4. Cats = Litter Box Then listen to as much combustion there is to offer in the larger 6.2 Liters of Engine Displacement that she has to offer 🙂

Heard ya, yeah definitely considering doing it. It sounds sick and I want to be as loud as possible lol. Was looking at corsas but it’s hard to justify spending 2k on exhaust with no real power gain, people buy them just to be loud when you can be just as loud for much cheaper. My exhaust at the moment is just a muffler deleted catback the previous owner put in so I’m already partially there just need catless headers and an x pipe. This set up would scream on a c7 hope you’re able to get one soon
