Do I think a sequel to Tropic Thunder can be made today? Yes I do, BUT... It can't just be a retread of the 1st film using blackface and the use of the word retard. It has to be smart and attack topics that are controversial & taboo in Hollywood today. Like diversity in film, gay representation, and if it was really ballsy, it would tackle topics like the me too movement and even address piece of shit producers like Harvey Weinstein. Maybe Les Grossman lives up to his name? 👀

I saw this movie in the theaters when it came out. I was a teenager. I thought it was the funniest movie ever! I never thought about it being racist or sexist. We were just a bunch of teens having a great laugh. To this day my friends and I will still quote the movie and get a laugh.
