They are designed to increase stability, traction, and safety on slopes. Dual wheels are also great for reduction of soil compaction on delicate ground.

The only improvement to the Ventrac platform that I would like to see is switching the position of the motor and the drivers station. This would improve visibility of the driver over some of the equipment like the bucket/scraper.
If you had a choice, a D3 size Dozer would be your best bet. But you use what you have. Good luck with your project.

With cargo tires the front gear box has a ground clearance of 14 inches.
Even with everything off, and the key not in ignition. I am afraid to clean it. 😅 is it completely safe to do so?

Absolutely. Make it snow and we’ll show you what it can do.
It doesn't get much better than this. I've tested both this one and many of the competition. I like it alot and the speed is nice when there is need to move from one place to the next... One good alternative is the Kramer but I like the Giant 👍🏼.

HOW MANY GALLONS DOES YOUR JACOBSON TURFCAT MOWER HOLD
The legendary Jacobsen Turfcat is one of the greatest out front rotary mowers of its time! This unit carried 9 gallons of fuel, 6.8gallons of hydro oil, and mowed from 3.3 to 4 acres per hour depending on deck, with unmatched reliability. The sad news is the Turfcat was retired from the Jacobsen Lineup some time in 2020. There is a comparable model from Ransomes, let us know if we can provide further information.

Can it get through a 36" gate in any tire configuration?
It does have a tire configuration that gets it through a 36" gate. You can buy the skinny tire to fit right through the gate. Additionally, you can use this tire with a dual wheel configuration. The outside wheels are easily removable/replaceable. That way you can get through the fence, and maintain the stability of a wider tire!

Not having an option for A/C with an enclosed cab, with a machine that is used year around in 100F and -30F weather is a huge deterrent, for me at least anyway. There isn't enough head room for the taller folks with a long torso, for reference I'm 6'4". Letting air out of the air ride seat doesn't do much for head room and its rather harsh on the spine when you hit a bump. My head easily hits the celling when the machine hits any uneven terrain on the road, very annoying. The parking brake needs to be either shortened, moved to a complete different location or something because it's IN THE WAY when entering and exciting the machine. The GIANT G2700 would way more attractive, even at its price, if it had A/C, more head room, a wider door opening and parking brake that isn't in the way. I think it a great machine that just needs some improvements to make it more suitable for all year use for North American customers.

The cold weather isn’t a problem! It has heat. Just have to take the windows off for now in the summer. I love mine!
@@dudeswaggins-sd7hc I'm aware it has heat. I'm trying to state that the machine won't just solely be used in weather where A/C isn't needed. It should have A/C as an option if GIANT is going to have an enclosed cab as an option in the North American market. Where I'm located, we see temps all the way into the 100's and all the way to the -40's, without windchill.
Does anyone at MTE know why GIANT hasn't provided an option for A/C for G2700 in the North American market or if they will? @@MTEEquipment
@@Yeti573 Giant is working on an A/C solution for compact machines. They were originally designed for the Netherlands. We'll be sure to share more information when it's released.

Installed these on a riding mower czcams.com/users/postUgkxetgfkJxfdT_B2vGYP-uNTLaBbim9OKTD . They were sharp out of the box, although I've never liked blade edges that were coated...not quite as sharp as I personally want. Using my belt sander, I removed the coating from the cutting edges and refined the edge enough to shave with them. So far, after three runs, these blades are holding up as expected. Even after hitting a few fallen 1/2 inch or so branches, the edges are still sharp as heck. No edge dings, no warping, etc. As far as installing them, the cutouts were of the proper size and shape to fit my aging Craftsman mower. Very satisfied.
