Using Scrintal now in my job as a composer. Seams to work really well so far, but I would love to be able to attach a pdf AND read it directly on a card. It would also be cool if I could listen to audio files I have attached to cards as well 🤩

Would be good to at least get a feel of the working demo/trial rather than forcing to pay upfront.

I’m torn between Scrintal and Obsidian. Obsidian is established and free, but has a steep learning curve. Scrintal looks easy to use, is intuitive, and having everything as cards on a board is very useful, but it looks like it’s still beta and paying for 1 year for a beta version is kind of pricey. This video is a very good introduction to Scrintal.

I'm on the verge of signing up, super excited to transfer my knowledge base to scrintal. I do have 2 questions: 1) Is an app for Iphone/Ipad in the making anytime soon? 2) Is the ability to draw & write with my apple pencil directly onto the canvas a feature that's also in the works?

I think often people don’t even realize how messy their thought process is and tend to get lost in them. I am excited to see what’s coming next to help this!

But I was wondering if it might be even easier to navigate if there was a folder explorer style sidebar. This is a common feature in many programs, and I think it would be familiar and helpful for most users. is this an online or offline app?

I find the videos with Bianca Pereira super helpful! Her approach to KM for research is perfect for many technical professionals who are keeping notes that apply both to immediate projects and also are meant for long term use in their profession.

Can you add an image to the card so it's visible on the board and not have to go into the card itself? So if I'm looking at the board I can see images as well as the text

As I understand from the website, you can but a Perpetual license for Scrintal? If true, that would win me over in an instsant. You rarely see such a thing for services like this.

Will it be possible to export notes in an ebook format? If I write a book in Scrintal, will I be able to export it in a format where I can order a print of it? The same goes for daily notes, I might want to print them out every year like in the DayOne app :-) Thank you. PS: Your music pulsing up and down is not good for us with bad hearing...

Would it be possible to share the board with the cards used in this video, for my own understanding and learning?

So disappointed with this team and their model. I ended my subscription and surprise, I can't even get my own content back, all my notes are gone, nowhere to be found on my computer, the only way is to subscribe again for a whole year! Yes, there are no monthly plan. And according to their terms of use, they can delete all your content from their servers without notice after 90 days. I emailed the team more than a week ago and got no response back from them. If a Scrintal team member reads this, please give a former customer some consideration.

Price is too steep, should be more used than it is.

sometimes I get really mad at Scrintal. I cannot move cards around..... is it just me? can you tell me how to do that? It would move some of them but not all of them.....

Can we have an auto-align function tab? So we don't need to manually drag and drop to make it in order.

Bianca is a diamond, that's for sure. Though the narrative of abandoning Obsidian in favour of Scrintal doesn't sound convincing to me.

This is a very interesting story in and of itself. Scrintal is the lovely icing on the cake. Dan Allosso is admirable and an inspiring example to the rest of us.
