Smooth Pool on the Westall Loop, just out of Streaky Bay, South Australia is a beautiful spot to explore rock pools and according to people we met who had just been snorkelling, advised it is amazing to explore under water. Sharks are a real factor in the area so care is required. We stayed there for a few hours, had a picnic lunch, explored the rockpools and chatted with other people there. Hi...

There were not many people around so have a plan on how you will recover yourself if you are alone. If you plan to camp you need to be self sufficient. There is a basic toilet as shown in the video. • @real4x4adventures65
      @real4x4adventures65 Před 7 měsíci

      Thank you. I think you'd still be looking at a good 20kg, probably just over. Most of the poles are connected to the tent so it's really the fly, pegs and fly poles you'd be eliminating. The Lite model would be a little lighter. Depending where you live, BCF, tentworld, snowys and anaconda should have them in stock. Pop in and see how it feels. Honestly the most amazing tent if you can manage it. We have loved it.

    Thanks for video, I found it helpful I had my eye on the oztent but the pack up size of this might have won me over. Since you've owned both, would you say the black wolf matches the quality of the oztent? Although it's a heavy tent, it'll actually help me remove more weight from my car. I don't use my roof rack (50kg) for anything but an awning (10kg). My swag probably weighs the same as this tent so 60kg off of my roof is pretty tempting for me to make the switch

  • @Rinordine
    @Rinordine Před rokem

    I'd put more trust in that Gatorade bottle than the Lifesafe. If it loses pressure you will not know until you need to use it, a proper extinguisher has a gauge you can check. The extinguisher is heavy because it's better quality, compare the extinguishers metal valve vs the Lifesafes plastic spray nozzle you find on deodorant cans. And when it comes to sizes you want the largest extinguisher you can fit. The bigger the extinguisher the bigger the fire you can tackle. Don't trust the marketing videos either, the fires they set up do not compare to what a real, uncontrolled fire is like.
