0:05 I overtake her at the lights, she's in the black SUV at the front of the queue on the left. Maybe this is what wound her up but can't see that I did anything wrong; 0:17 she nearly takes me out at the pinch in the road; 0:41 I undertake her and give her car a knock; 0:54 she purposely swerves into me; and again at 1:03; at 1:11 she stalks me so I mount the kerb; by then I'm thinking she mi...

How to install a spherical bearing; recessing a bushing to fit over the spherical bearing; removal of the kingpin and replacement with an aircraft bolt; rounding the pivot... .... .... ..... ..... ..... .... .... .... (click on the 'show more' link just below ) My mistake at 30:15; bushings are made of urethane not polyurethane. What you'll need: Safety glasses! Ear defenders or ear plugs Spher...

    I don't even have this truck. Just enjoyed learning your process. :)

  • @davidleeashkenazi8992

    Cast trucks are just fine, but older trucks companies like Tracker and Bennett still make their trucks with the same old shit they've used at the 70's n' 80's...

    Silly, frustrated, unhappy little woman, using a ton of metal to punish perceived slights. She's unhappy in her life, feels powerful in that car so uses it as a weapon. A troubled, spiteful person.

    Great tutorial. BUT ... some basic craftsman tips. ;) Pivot polishing first - or you grind some of the metal dust into the bearing. At least tape it. Same for the bushings after you filed it down.. dust it off and sand it. Or you wear in urethan dust over time. And .. bearings obviously don´t like urethan or aluminum. Also - you where concerned of a broken king bin .. why do you welder it in?

    I always had bear cast trucks. So when I got my first bennetts, I wondered why the pivot head looked so shitty. They should really sand that down in the plant. I've only rode it twice, and it's already tearing up the pivot cup. And I only weigh 110 lbs.

    Great video. The only thing I would add is that although you did emphasize safety, you should ALWAYS wear a dust mask or filter when working with urethane dust.

    Awsome! I´m in the mentalprocess of trying this out my self, well on a randal tostart with. Found it on Pavedwave. I think you should add it in pavedwave.myfastforum.org/about798.html It realy helped my thoughts in the matter of doing it, mostly the 1st part when u putt in the bearing with a little JBweld. Do you have an window of opportunity while the epoxy hardens to adjust it? Glue gets sticky, but with the metal components i have no idea.

    • @boyan.t
      @boyan.t Před 8 lety

      +Mr X Yep, plenty of opportunity to adjust the bearing when it's initially inserted with a little JB Weld. And yes clip already added on Pavedwave :-)

      +Bojan T I meant the specifik tread. "ALL Bennet truck modiffications" on pavedwave. i would have added it there but ithink you should, all creds to you .. :) I was thinking about makeing some kind of a basket to let the bearing chill in while the epoxy hardend, but sounds like that would just be more problems and a weaker bond.
