I was there just last week.. the place is old, worn down and it STINKS.. sewers or what ever I dont know, it just stinks badly, there are some nice** located restaurants at the water, but the smell makes me ( and my family ) not wanna eat there at all. and then there is the "old men with young girls" everywhere, make me wanna puke !

That small beach can be pretty busy and you have to take into account the tide . The beach @ Naklua 18 is better , bigger and still a bit hidden away . My opinion . Cabbages & Condoms is one of the best on location . Food is good but there are better options .

too many chinese tourist? That's what i don't like. When holiday comes, it will be too crowded with so many tourist. Not so relaxing anymore. I planning to go between 12-14 Oct because it's Thailand holiday. but i'm afraid of loud tourist haha

I thought I'd visit and drove down as usual at the temple turnoff. Drove along the beach and suddenly it stops you and sends you along 2nd road. Gave up, went to Soi Buakhao instead and ate and a few beers.
