With that question I always point people to David, who speaking by the Spirit said: 2 Samuel 12:23 "But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me." Note that this was a child not just of fornication but adultery and David proclaims that he would go to him . . . therefore, it is a strong support for the belief in the age of accountability, that those who were aborted or killed or died from disease who were not old enough to understand their need for Christ's Salvation and choose Him, and are still in the innocence of their childhood go to be with The Lord.

I can see where the confusion comes from by conflating 2nd Coming Scriptures with Rapture Scriptures, but once you see it clearly, it is baffling how so many almost willfully refuse to see it.

And yet, he (John the Baptist) didn't understand if Jesus was the expected One or if he should expect another . . . (Matthew 11:3) and he didn't understand and believe in The Resurrection. Peter also believed that Jesus was Messiah and The Son of the Living God but completely didn't understand at that time, The Resurrection. What you are missing in your assessment here is that The Resurrection specifically is the distinction that separates The Church from early Jewish believers in Jesus. Look at Romans 10:9 which requires that one confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord AND believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead. The Church is a different class of believers due to this. In the Old Testament God's Holy Spirit was The Power and Presence of God to empower and equip HIs prophets to accomplish their assigned Ministries, not His indwelt Presence as a signification of Eternal Salvation like it is with The Church.

@@DustinBlystone I dont agree - what about david - how could he written down dozens of psalms without constantly beeing filled with the holy ghost? Or Abraham - how could he be found righttious without seeing Jesus day - meening the cross? Jesus said Abraham saw my day. Sorry i think every old testament saint from Adam to Malaki had the spirit - they were born again from heaven like us. The disiples is a different story - Jesus breathing on them, only partly filled.

​@@opprykkelsen Thank you for your feedback . . . It seems we're not on the same page here. The Old Testament Saints were empowered with God's Holy Spirit, but they are not the Church. The Spirit inspired David as well as Moses, et al, to write The Holy Scriptures, and to do mighty works. They did not understand The Resurrection. The Spirit was His Empowering Presence for them, to write and do all they did. I'm not saying they are not saved, of course they are . . . however, they never lived in the reality of The Resurrection as we do now. Now, God's Holy Spirit is an indwelling Presence of Salvation in all who believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and for those who are baptized in His Holy Spirit are also empowered and anointed to do mighty works, as the Old Testaments Saints did as well. So the Presence of God in us for Salvation in our living bodies (not true for OT Saints because their sins hadn't been paid for yet on The Cross and Christ's Resurrection was yet future) AND we can also, like them, be equipped and empowered for mighty works. If you do not agree, that's fine, but I'm not here to argue endlessly. I thank you for your insights and thoughts; however, if we are just going to be contradicting each other I see no value in that if this continues too much further.

Hi Heidel . . . Thanks for the feedback . . . I think you're referring to Pastor Sandy's teaching on that subject . . . I understand what he is saying when he uses the Leah / Rachel paradigm but I don't necessarily agree with how he renders that by applying it the way he does . . . I look at it more in the sense of a Kingdom and who are the different members of the Kingdom . . . One Kingdom . . . but there is a King (Christ), His Bride/Queen (Church) His family (Israel), His Subjects (Tribulation Saints) . . . Some other commentators look at it where God The Father "marries" Israel and Christ (The Son) "marries" The Church . . . I'm sure all of us fall short in our attempts to analogize these things, so this is the way it makes the best sense to me. Hope this helps. I would say all who are part of The Church throughout time are all part of The Church . . . so the Rapture consolidates that entire group (i.e. Body of Christ) that is the dead in Christ and we who are alive and remain into one single group. . . . The community would be those who lived righteously as Old Testament Gentiles but didn't know the plan or Salvation and/or Tribulation Saints who come to know Christ during Tribulation. Again, hope this helps, and I would remind that this is what you might call my "treatment" on this or my take on it . . . so not necessarily Gospel truth, but the way I look at it to help make sense of it and categorize it via relationships and community.

Awesome Dustin! I agree your take sounds very logical and I can agree with it. Pastor Sandy has obviously not looked into it that way. But we will see shortly all this for ourselves. One more thing. Is it the church who will live inside the City and the community outside around the city ? What are your thoughts about it.

Scripture doesn't shed too much light on your question . . . but the way I view it, is that the Church will have full access to New Jerusalem, and all else, the new Heavens, and new Earth, whereas, the community of His Kingdom who is not The Church will occupy various levels of the new Earth but will not have access to New Jerusalem.

Context matters . . . The Word says Canaan was the son of Ham multiple times and goes out of its way to say so . . . only person in the Bible it does that with . . . then Moses, the writer of Genesis and Leviticus explains clearly what uncovering one's nakedness means . . . not picking and choosing at all . . . just teaching accurately however uncomfortable it makes people feel.

@@DustinBlystone Yes, Leviticus explains what "uncovering one's nakedness" means, but here the text says Ham "SAW his father naked", just how the brothers turned their heads to not SEE their father's nakedness. Seeing and uncovering are two different things, you just arbitrarily assign that when Ham "sees" it then it's code, but when Shem and Japheth "see" then it's literal, because it contradicted your interpretation. In another of your videos you were nitpicking the difference between "heaven" and "heavens" but now "uncovering" and "seeing" is the same thing? and only when it suits your needs?

Well, because context does matter, the context of the passage is that Noah is pronouncing a curse on Canaan, not on Ham . . . because Canaan is Ham's son which the text emphasizes over and over again . . . completely unnecessary in any way, shape, or form unless the teaching here is correct. You accuse me of nitpicking as if you are upset with my scrutiny, but I believe that you are the one nitpicking with scrutiny over my scrutiny . . . I'm an equal opportunity offender, so if you listen long enough, I'll eventually get to you . . . You state with apparent sarcasm regarding my teaching: "must be great, to pick and choose" . . . well, must be great to anonymously criticize behind a keyboard and an anonymous pseudonym . . . for your information this is actually a more widely held view than just mine here . . . I can cite numerous sources who side with my teaching on this matter, but I'm not going to take the time if you are just lashing out to make yourself feel better about being offended at this . . . I'd prefer to agree to disagree on the matter and move on . . . I acknowledge there are good scholars who hold a different view on this matter . . . Does that satisfy you?

So in your attempt to reverse engineer this story, instead of letting the text speak for itself, as you said in a previous video, you insert numerous assumptions, including a new character that is not mentioned and overlook the contradictions, just to make the story more flashy and intriguing. Also a funny thing i noticed on the followup video, which i guess is done to preserve this interpretation. When you read Gen 10:21 you stumble, pause for 1 sec and where the text says "the older brother of Japheth", you read "the brother of Jephtah the elder".

I mention this several times in this series, that I will be reciting the translation I memorized which is occasionally slightly different from what's on screen . . . this is not to preserve anything or make anything more flashy but attempt to teach with the most comprehensive accuracy possible . . . If you are here to simply mock that and fault find any little tiniest speaking error or supposed contradiction to satisfy some need you seem to have to be a fault finder, then I suggest you go elsewhere . . . If you have legitimate and constructive criticism, I'll let it stand . . . if not and you just want to argue incessantly and puff yourself up by pretending that you're proving inconsistency while not even bothering to reply to any of my rebuttles to your arguments, then I'm just going to block you.

Hi Heidel . . . I'm sure what you are referring to . . . can you please provide a time stamp so I can see what you are referring to? I want to make sure I didn't miscommunicate something . . . and this session is going to go deep into the difference between and the relationship between Israel and The Church so hopefully all confusion will be cleared up within the next few weeks.

This was to make the clear distinction that The Church is not in The Tribulation but I see how it came across the way you were reading it . . .

I recall going to a very formal wedding for my cousin, with a full compliment of groomsmen and bridesmaids, naval officers, etc. . . . It was quite the event . . . When my cousin's wife and him had been through the ceremony, and they left the Church, the groomsmen who were all naval officers had their swords drawn and the best man said, "and now for the first time in public I present to you Mr. and Mrs. and they came through the canopy of drawn swords . . . If we can have weddings like that in human terms, imagine what this one is going to be like . . . Mind Blowing!

I'm afraid it is true. There will be Christians in the tribulation (Tribulation Saints, Jews who come to believe, etc.), but not The Church. We're preparing Christians who are The Church to meet Jesus in the midst of 1992 years of persecution the Church has faced since it started and continues to face and will continue to face until the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of The Church. The Tribulation is God's wrath poured out on an unbelieving world and we, as The Church are not appointed to wrath as per 1 Thessalonians 5:9 There is no way to "prepare" for Revelation 6 - 19. That is an absurdity. If you want to continue to believe that heresy, good luck preparing for a horde of supernatural demon empowered scorpion locusts from the bottomless pit . . . and I would ask you how in the world you think you are currently "preparing" for that? . . . nevertheless, your view on this matter is not welcome here, especially in the contentious and contradictory manner of your post.
