Thanks, but I've a Problem in Finding Reverse Match Frame in Duplicate/other Clip. Suppose I've clip-1 loaded in timeline and I command 'Sequence> Match Frame' and immediately the clip is loaded in Source Monitor and exact frame located. Now I load a duplicate copy of the same clip, Clip-1B into timeline (into the same sequence or other sequence in both cases same result), and highlight Src Pnl and command 'Reverse Match Frame'. But it doesn't find the desired frame in this 'Clip-1B' on timeline. If I load the clip1 on the sequence, then 'Reverse Match Frame' works and brings the playhead/cti on that very frame in Tline. But not on the Clip1-b. What am I doing wrong?
Yeah, this is strange. What version of Premiere Pro are you using? Are you using a Mac or windows computer?

@@BobbyCycles When you duplicate a clip in the project panel, add 1B at the beginning of the file name or change the entire file name and it should work.
@@SaintSaxonCreative3 Thanks for your kind reply, but, No it doesn't, even you rename the duplicate clip whatever. Moreover, adobe team too has responded that it won't. You can't find a frame in clip-a and then reverse find the same frame in clip-b. (perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my question to you, though I tried much). This is only possible in when we synch both clips with their time-codes first.
In the timeline
How do I set the default track height? It changed with the last update and it's higher than I like.
Create a new sequence and in that new sequence go to the icon that looks like a wrench tool (Timeline Display Setting) and go save preset. The save preset window will appear and give your preset a name. Then go to the sequence that you want to fix the track heights on then go to timeline display settings and you will see the new timeline preset under expand all tracks or above save preset.
Thanks. I want to be able to save a default, but I discovered that Adobe hasn't made that possible yet.

It could be a combination of a few things. How much Ram does your computer have? Are you using 4K footage? How long is your sequence? Are the media cache files on your computer, or are they place on an external hard drive?

do you know why my rendering takes almost two hours no matter what settings i have it under? I made proxies and everything, it is 6k footage and even with the proxies the rendering takes upwards of an hour and a half 🫤 and when i went to encode it, it said ten hours !!! please help 😭🙏🏼
How long is your sequence and what kind of effects are you using?

@@esme2199 Is there any lag in playback in the timeline? If this is only a rendering (exporting issue) I would try to export it on hard drive and export it through media encoder.

What are format are you exporting it as MP4, Quicktime? What bitrate are you exporting it as?
Whenever I use this process and render in to out, it takes over 40 minutes to render two short clips. I'm using an M3 Max MacBook Pro so there shouldn't be any reason for it to take this long - any advice or thoughts?
It could be a combination of a few things. Are you using 4K footage? How long is your seqeunce? Are the media cache files on your computer, or are they place on a hard drive? How much Ram does your computer have? If you are applying effects to multiple clips I would use an adjustment layer and place the effects on the adjustment layer. I would also try lowering the playback resolution in the program monitor.
@@SaintSaxonCreative3 Thanks for your reply! I'm using roughly 1 minute of 4K 4:2:2 H.264 footage shot in S-Log 3 on my Sony A7IV. My computer has 32GB of ram and my media cache files are on my computer. I notice the problem occurs when I use an instance of Luma Key, Channel Blur, or Gaussian Blur effects - as soon as I place these effects on my clip, or on an adjustment layer, the playback goes red. I've read that these are GPU intensive effects, and my Premiere is set on Mercury Playback Engine Accelerated GPU, so not sure why it's having such an issue with playback and rendering.
@@SaintSaxonCreative3 After some further trial and error, I've figured out that the problem only arises when I add the channel blur effect for halation. As soon as I add it to either my clip or my adjustment layer, the entire area that it's effecting turns red and I can no longer get playback.
@@xlukewitter Copy. What I would do is.. Lower the playback resoulution to either 1/2 or 1/4 in the program monitor. Go the Premiere Pro -> Setting -> Media Cache, then place your media cache files on a hard drive so that you will be able to render faster. I would also look into the process of creating Proxies of your media.
