In the circle on the right, we have "polite but dishonest/or silent" But in the narrow sweet spot intersection of the two circles, we have "honest/open YET polite." Only in the middle, do we have caring to tell it like it is, while also caring not to needlessly offend. This is a science and an art that few have successfully attained.

I think if you give them flats in some highrise which occupants are only veterans, they could connect with each other and still have the possibility to retreat in to each own flat. A community of veterans. I think this would help a lot.

The problem with this is when you generalize to group differences you run the risk of people judging someone based on them belonging to a group which is not accurate because there is more variability within the group. It supports human prejudice with is a natural instinct. Murray chooses to willfully ignore this which is why he is criticized and you have to ask why he does that, what is his motivation. I do agree that people should be judged on merits rather than quotas ideally, but we also know quotas are there to counter bias. Keeping standards the same should be paramount though. The other issue is comparing IQ which is basically human horsepower, a trait which has caused humans to dominate all other species, to something like athletic ability, which is the power of lower animals (by human value). Humans traded brawn for brains and it made them very successful. Even if some artists and athletes make lots of money, if they do not have a high enough IQ they can easily be manipulated out of that money by someone smarter.

He's right. Kids are all different. I sure as hell couldn't play basketball but I was good at track and history and other stuff. My kids were all different in various aptitudes. The schools try to enforce lies that do far more harm than good. The internet and AI robots will soon replace the entire educational system -- and none too soon.

Always surprised that I never hear about the system in many European countries. Many European counties, if not most, are very clear about channeling kids into "professional" and "technical" tracks. In other words, get a university degree vs get a technical education. Both lead to good economic outcomes, coupled with self-respect. Of course, sometimes errors are made - especially pushing a potential university-calibre kid into a technical track. So, they offer what the Swiss call a "bridge", where someone who really wants to can switch tracks.

What a disaster birx was in all that she did after nothing had worked from her ridiculous ideas. Never gave up and never listened to or considered emerging truths.
