thank you planning to you esp32 in my nintendo wii, i think i'll mod the antenna too

I see that you are in possession of flux because you used some when soldering the FFC onto the board, so I'm wondering why you didn't use any when cleaning the old solder from the PCB pads?! That would've made the task much MUCH easier!
You are correct, we have to use flux to clean the solder off of the pads.
Mental Giant ! Cover what you photograph with your hand......
Should ALWAYS test ebay / amazon / chinesium cables with a meter.
Just like the good old fake tweeters and midrange speakers that jc penny's had on their 3 component fake equalizers that was just a equalizers that was a slider up and down bass and treble adjustment fake equalizer. The speakers were just a 1 speaker and no wires to the midrange and treble fake domes on a 6x9 frame. Lol
Kind-of... fake tweeters won't kill you if something shorts out; this fake cable will.
You could file a little bit of the pins of the SMA connector to put it tightly to the PCB and get more mechanical solidity.
Very great video
Thanks! It took about 40 hours to make.
Thanks for another great video!
😡 'PromoSM'
Same exact way of speaking as Barney Fife!
Cool I might have to upgrade someday. Looks like a fast ignition time.
Good to see you had a lot of patience and tenacity to stick with it and get it sorted, but the filter is important to keep in it,
I own a PACE MBT PPS 85E and that air outlet dial you turn and nothing is happening, On mine there are 3 or 4 holes on the dial. and as you turn the dial from 1 -4 it exposes more air to escape, and in turn less air blowing out at the end of the hot air iron, A bit like a carpet vacuum tube` the slot on a tube you open it and it causes less suction on the carpet , you close the slotted bit on the tube and the suction is greater, but on a carpet vacuum its reverse from the way on the soldering station, Great job on the repair, when sucking up the solder , might need the solder station set higher as solder does not like to remelt unless adding fresh solder to it,so this is why may need to set higher temp. I am new to soldering, if the solder struggling to suck up check tubes are not semi blocked , Did you figure out the suction ?
Don't know anything about your products (got here by way of an epoxy video you did) but gotta say: your BOM screams of quality and whatever you're building is certainly well worth its weight in gold. Top notch stuff. I don't need what you're selling but if i ever do, you can bet I'll pick it up and trust it. Great engineering! 👍
Absolutely magnificent!! You need S M Zeus!!
Is this easily removed?
I've never tried but I doubt it could be removed easily. Potting compound is usually permanent.
I bet that repair only lasted 5 minutes with the amount of force that parts under! I was thinking of super glueing followed by heat stapling the joins as the plastic has aged badly.
I haven't used it in a while but it was still going the last time I used it. Fiberglass is very tough.
@@muxall406 thanks for getting back to me, I have ended up super glueing....about to plastic weld with a soldering iron for added strength...fingers crossed
hello sir. thank you so much for the detailed video. I have Ikea Fantast thermometer. While I was making yoghurt, some milk leaked into the probe. So I unplugged the cable from inside the prob. I dried it fully. No problem, works perfectly. But I can not put it in back into the metal L shaped prob. My question is, can I buy another brand's (Wintact) cable and plug in into Ikea thermometer? Are they universal? the cable is just like the ones you show in your video.
There are a lot of different kinds of meat probes which, unfortunately, have the same connectors. There are ways to identify what kind of probe it is using an ohm meter but it's not guaranteed. I suggest that when you buy another meat probe, make sure it says that it is compatible with your product or that the merchant will allow you to return it if it doesn't work.
I have a flameboss 500 on my stick burner. it has magnets on the back. I take it off when not in use to keep it out of the weather
the goofy pit boss is on the KC combo
it already has PID and wifi with a phone app. not much of a reason to upgrade
Great video! It has to be awfully frustrating to see all these different styles coming out now. I’ve been waiting for you to drop the trapezoid for the z grill(700d). however I’d be more than happy with a professional adapter/backplate. Can’t wait to hear what you decide. P.s. if you need beta testing for it, I’m your guy 😉🤷🏻♂️🤣
Man has those cowboy sandals on.. yeeehawww!! I like your easy going attitude sir.
I've seen a replacement connecting rod online for about $16. Typically we just get new pumps but they are expensive ($300-600) and repairing your own is definitely worth it. We seem to have problems with the motor as well due to the poles failing.
Thanks for this reply Alan...I couldn't find a full parts list online so you naming the part has helped me source one..great, thanks again
Hey, I may sound pedantic, but what you are soldering is a FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit); not a FFC. I mention this because I was looking into FFC soldering technique, and I don't know if the technique is different or not.
Thanks for pointing that out. I tend to call everything a cable if it goes into a connector.
Does it fit a 12 inch frozen pizza
smile of jocker?
Would an internally shorted triac cause that wire to get hot enough to unsolder itself?
That's an interesting thought. However, I don't think it would have scorched the hotmelt glue on the ESP32 if the triac had shorted out.
Was the antenna plugged in when he turned it on ?
I'm sure it was
Very satisfied and relaxing.
I found if you put Flux on the disoldering wick it sucks that up quickly.
The model number is in the corner near the serial number is.
Will there be a muxall controller coming out for the z grills with that type of controller? I have one and would be interested.
I am hoping to have a trapezoid faceplate that will fit in the Z-Grills by Christmas... fingers crossed!
@@muxallopeniot9194 awesome! Thanks for the reply!
I love me some BBQ and I'm always lookin fer a way to make it better. Does this open Maxull iot thing have good security? Cause I dont want no rooskies hackin my grill and holdin my meat hostage like they did the IRS. Can I add some Norton to make it safer. Someone also said I should use a firewall. Do I need more wood pellets to do this? This technology is makin me crazy. Next thing you know my grill will be cohortin with my washin machine.
LOL! Currently the Muxall Pro BBQ Controller will only work on your home's private wifi network. You won't be able to access the web app away from the house. In the future, it will have cloud access at which time the security will be enhanced. It doesn't use any more wood pellets than the OEM controller that came with your grill. Yeah, better be nice to your washing machine! 😀
Greetings, I am Sonjay Mukerjee being from Mumbai. I am wanting to learn Barbi Qu. Kindly would you tell what is best meat for use to make Briskit.
Hello Sonjay, According to WikiPedia: "Brisket is a cut of meat from the breast or lower chest of beef..." Here is the wikipedia link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brisket The way I cook it is at a temperature of 250F to 275F in a barbecue grill or smoker until the internal temperature of the meat reaches about 205F. After it reaches that temp, pull it from the grill/smoker and wrap it in aluminum foil so no juices can leak out, then wrap it in a towel, then put it in an ice chest (no ice). Let it sit in the ice chest for 1-2 hours where it will finish cooking. Pull it out, slice it across the grain of the meat, and serve with a cold beer!
Oh my gosh! That is Cow! We don’t eat Cow. Hindus think Cow is sacred. Maybe I just learn BQB with pork. But many many thank yous for your kind information. Take care my friend.
@@Abanjostring My apologies! Try pork shoulder. It is very good and makes great "pulled pork" sandwiches.
That sounds great, I will try that.
Would this integrate with a Pit Boss Pro? I had a flameout that almost ruined my dinner and would like to avoid it. This seems perfect.
I think so. Can you take a picture of your auger connector; the connector where the controller connects to the auger. Send it to info@muxall.com.
@@muxallopeniot9194 I'll try to get it this weekend and send it.
the SX80 is a fantastic piece of kit but , buy a GLASS tube for it . part number 1265-0011-P1 , it will make one HECK of a difference , the carboard ones work ok but they are disposable and dont last very long , well , they don`t if like me you use it 8 - 10 hours a day , with the glass one its just a dream tool .
There is another felt filter in class tube. I soak it to acetone and usually get job done pretty well. By the way nice video . :)
Hi! Thank you! Which product did you apply to clean the contacts?
Alcohol pads
hi, thanks for the video. do you know if the contact for a molex 5264 and contacts for a XH 2.54 are the same please? i have a new battery with a XH connector but i need to have a molex 5264 (that's the connector on the circuit board), so i wanted to know if i can simply pull the wires out of one and pop them into the molex connector? thank you
I am sorry but I don't. matching and mating molex pins for me is a long, exhausting process. Molex specs are very cryptic and there are about 1000 different pin types.
I had to go run the trash at work and my wife pushed power and couldn’t get it to turn back on to switch it to shut down so an hour later when I got home I opened the grill and a little smoke was still coming out it was about halfway down the auger i emptied the pellets and vacuumed as much of them out of the hopper as I could thank God it didn’t make it to the hopper. I really think that’s the only way the hopper catches fire when the fan quits blowing.
If the grill is not level, that can also cause back burn up the auger tube. But the 6002 is not supposed to have that issue because the auger tube is not in the burn pot like standard grills.
Thanks for this amazing video. Easy video ranking = P*R*O*M*O*S*M!!!
Femal with "Pin"
Gr8 video! Not sure if you have multiple mini vibration motors attached to the hopper will it be better? I am always curious about it
Hmm... I'm not sure if multiple vibrators would work better. I think of a person holding a rope and moving it up and down; you get a nice sine wave. But if two people, one on each end of the rope, move the rope up and down then you would get some of the waves canceled by interference and some waves doubled by interference.
@@muxallopeniot9194 yup I agree, you need to make sure none of them cancel each other
Yes Mike that's Phil Smith trapezoid controller that you have.
If your diamond bit is free floating compressed by a spring, it seems like the body of the engraver would spin, and maybe the diamond shaft might spin a little. Can you do a rpm check on the diamond shaft with your router spinning at about 8000 rpm. JUST CURIOS
I don't have anything to do an rpm check with but believe me, it's spinning and probably as fast as the body.
To remove hot melt glue with zero force, flood the joint with isopropyl alcohol. It doesn’t dissolve the glue in any way, but the joint completely releases.
That fine tip is one of the ones for tight spots. The normal tips are much shorter and squatter, giving much better thermal conductivity and thus better performance.
I think studying the Pace manuals and the parts guide for the SX-80 would have gone a loooong way towards getting it running quickly. I highly suggest getting the glass solder collection tube (plus spare filters for it). You need the full assembly with the S-shape metal baffle (though a tiny wad of stainless steel pot scrubber works too) and felt filter. The back seal (on the cool side) rarely fails, but the one on the front is in contact with the hot tip, and will fail eventually. So I’d order a spare of those. As for filters: BOTH filters are essential! Without them, flux fumes will foul the vacuum pump. The felt filter in the collection tube is the primary filter, without which the vacuum hose would get fouled with both flux and solder dust. The pump-side “visifilter” is the secondary filter is to protect the pump, but it’s not designed to handle the bulk of the filtration. (You only replace it perhaps 1/4 as often as the one in the collection tube.)
Why cracked? where did you bought it?
That igniter was a prototype I was testing. We sell the ceramic igniters for pellet grills.
