So this was 2 years ago i see you did not use glue to keep the yarn in tack atleast i didnt see any. So how is it holding up? Also how would it hold up in a business on a couch like tattoo shop and with kids? ❤
You snapped bro 🔥
Amazing work Congrats I didn't understand the process of copying the design from the phone to the cloth.
Thank you!! I use a projector to put the design up on the frame and trace it from there :-)
Do you used glue ,
Amazing work! I really like your work studio as well, it looks so sleek and optimized!
Thank you!!!

Your caligraphy is beautifully done. I love that Consew machine!
Thank you!! It's a great machine :-)
I don’t need visa or work on this channel, I just want to say, that I loved watching this video!!! So inspiring, so stylisch, aesthetic and also very calming tutorial! I did a merchant and mils pattern ones and I totally understand your struggles with some steps 😴😊
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!! :-)
Which wool is used & Glue???
I used wool rug yarn from Tuft the World, and an Elmer’s PVA glue!
WHY IS IT ONLY WITH ONE STRING?! If you do 2 strings at a time, you save time and you get a thicker rug
what thread are you using on your chain stitch machine? :)
Burmilana wool thread from Madeira!!
Wol!! Very very nice
Thanks!!
😍😍😍
So inspiring and you are so neat and organised
Thank you!!
Can u also show the measurements and patterns as well
How do you prevent from having a border of tufting cloth showing around the piece?
You have to sew over a portion of the yarn so that there isn’t a gap! I’ve found that it helps a lot to shave down the outer edge to get it as flat / thin as you can so it’s easier to go over. It probably depends on your machine though!
Perfect bro
yay, another new sewing channel to watch!
Fantastic work!
Thank you!!
Looks great, love the embroidery. I made the same jacket in blue a couple of years ago and used a contrasting fabric for the under collar.
Thank you! That’s an awesome idea, I might have to steal it if I make another one someday 😁
Amazing ❤
Thanks! :)
Why did you see the tufted piece and then see it again to the cloth backing? Is it not a good idea to just sew them together all at the same time?
The first pass of sewing was with a zigzag stitch to bind the edges of the rug backing! That helps prevent fraying. The second pass was to attach the cloth, which I wanted to sew as close to the actual tufted portion as possible to avoid having a gap.
Wooooow! This is amazing! I'm so inspired 🥳/Big fan from Sweden
Thank you!! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)
Well done, beautiful design 😀
Thank you!!
Loved them 😀

Hi!)) what kind of glue do you use? 😊
I used an Elmer's PVA for this project!
Muy hermoso trabajo ! Gracias por compartir ❤
Amazing
Nice job 👌💐
Thank you!
Que programa sirve para hacer el dibujo a las medidas reales que se necesita? ( Me refiero a que se proyecte con el tamaño real). Gracias y like
I created the designs in Adobe Illustrator! From there when I set up the projector I just manually measured to make sure each design was the accurate size.
@@CraigMillerStudio gracias.
@@olaola5889 Of course! I don't speak Spanish well so I'm using Google translate haha. I hope I'm interpreting your comments correctly :-) I used an Elmer's PVA glue for this project! I would not machine wash these, I recommend spot cleaning by hand only. As far as yarn types I use pretty much exclusively wool yarn. It's much easier to work with, and the final product will last much longer than acrylic yarn. Best of luck getting into tufting, I hope you love it!
Wow, this is good
Thank you!
Do you sew the cotton fabric to the tufting cloth left on the edge of the piece or do you sew the cotton fabric to the edges that have been tufted and glued? I have minimal sewing experience so I’m wondering if the tufting fabric is sturdy enough to be sewn. Thank you!
I tried to sew as close as I could to the tufted portion so that there wouldn't be a weird gap between the cotton fabric and the yarn, if that makes sense. It's tricky because once the adhesive dries on the back of the rug it gets very hard, so you can't really sew through that part. To make it easier I would recommend not letting any glue get on the backing fabric outside of the tufted portion so you can get closer to that edge. I hope that helps!
@@CraigMillerStudio makes sense thank you!
Very Nice
Which glue did u use? Plz guide...
I discovered this tufting technique today I was delighted I am a product designer I am manufacturing my own cnc router who knows I do not apply this technique to the router to make the drawing... congratulations for your work post more videos... the pillow
Thanks for watching! That sounds interesting, good luck with your work :-)
Next time put the glue on the board not the rug.
I just started learning how to do this. Your video was so detailed thank you
SO COOL
