The reason that happened is probably because you have the Xbox 360 E on its side when it’s supposed to be horizontal

The red ring of death dosent always mean that your console is ruined if its a full red ring than it eithier means that the hdmi isnt fully pluged in or your console is ruined

The fans were designed to exit. NOT lying on the floor. Thats how you overheat your xbox.

Wanna know how to get rid of clicking sound? Flip the power adapter upside down and kinda hit it if it's making loud noise. If the noise is quiet and kinda sounds like a fan, it's the Xbox and there is no problem.

Nah, She's cooked. already did the secondary error code and it came back as a gpu issue.

@@MrRight-hn5pq oh definently. My picks for the one you should own is the last 2 revisions of the fat 360. Jaspers and the kronos revision have lower heat output and last longer than slim consoles.
360 e got one in 2013 its an amazing console
Ill miss it since it's my og one i remember most. had another e die a few months ago. I'm going with xbox 360 fat consoles from now on. easier to repair and more fun to work on too.

I think you can get away with turning consoles on like that, but not the old ones like 360. I use to turn it off with that button. Soon I got the red circle. Got new xbox and switch it off with the controller. And never had the red thing happen. That button is only used for when your game freezes.
Turning on the console with the power button makes no difference to using a controller
After the ring of death, I recycle ♻️ my old Xbox 360 from Best Buy as electronic recycling.

@@CliffNarkThe E models were manufactured WAY later than the Xenon OG 360s. they would have a MUCH lower chance of getting a RROD than the OG 360s.

Doesnt help that the exahust vent is blocked by the original 360. Heat is getting backed up. Systems need to breathe. My original 360 lasted 7 yrs untile a power surge hit it.
I also miss the days.

I recommend doing a professional reball on the cpu and gpu reballing is the most reliable fix
