Wow, sounds just like our Siamese cat's not Siamese black haired son name Vincent Van Gogh! His meow always sounds like some version of sad. Unless! You massage him around his hips and tail, then he'll grunt, growl and purr with great approval. Anything less, you're gonna get what you hear from this guy. Sometimes LOUD, that's when I call him, Pavarotti.
All Siamese cats are talkative and loud meowers lol I have figured that out recently from bringing home a stray Siamese cat. He is sassy and loud! Lol 😂

My son’s half Siamese cat sometimes sounds like a toddler trying to talk, and sometimes at night sounds like an actual baby. Is this normal? Genuine question, we’ve not had cats before. We’ve always been dog lovers. But my son rescued Chester, we had to syringe feed him as he was too young, and shouldn’t have been away from mum. He can be very loving, but also very nippy, not in an aggressive way, but playful manner. He rarely comes to me unless I’m home alone. But he loves my sons, aged 19 & 15, he’ll sleep on them, get under duvet or sleep on their heads 😂. He’s an indoor cat, not outdoor. Lots of toys, eats well, drinks water. He’s fit, not overweight or underweight. Are Siamese very vocal?
