Hey Ezra apologies for the slow reply, I had Covid really badly, just recovering. There are a few map makers leaving equipment and not destroying the farmyard, I agree it can muddy the waters a little, it depends if you are on console or PC/Mac there are a couple of script based mods that will help you start with nothing. I usually sell the stuff and give the money away if I want to have the true nada start. I have enjoyed the assist as under FS22 I find the loan aspect to be very limiting in comparison to FS19 where you really got 500K.

thanks Marty any map that Kalle does is always good, so I look out for the modder mostly, unless they are a new Modder. Almost all of these are short runs, I am doing Pallegner as my next European map as it's stunning. I am releasing at least one of these Episodes per week even whilst doing the Around the World series which is taking up most of my time. I do zoom in now for fertilising as I was always zoomed way out in the past when fertilising, do you think it still better to be zoomed out a bit more then? I would like to do this as a proper Play Through though as it really is a beautiful map and the equipment in later Episodes is insane as you will see as I post the Episodes and there are pellets on this, though I won't spoil it for you. You can have a laugh at me you'll see what I mean.

Yes I have been thinking about this I have just put in a more reasonable costed Pellet Production, so watch this space. Just doing a mini series on Alteiche by Kalle that is a beautiful Map (as all his maps tend to be). New Farmer Start so that is hopefully to your liking, I am posting the First Episode tonight 20/4/24, please let me know what you think. I know you prefer New Farmer Start, I like New Farmer Start if the Map Maker doesn't go mad with the equipment and make it too easy (though on the odd occasion like Riverside it can fit the map). I like a challenge where we "earn" our Farm and it isn't given to us on a plate, hope that makes sense. So if it's like Farmville Island with a small set of equipment I love it, there is then no need for Start from Scratch as it can ruin the map too or give another perspective, also it depends on the design of the Farm whether I go New Farmer, if i try new Farmer and I don't like the Farmyard I will go start from scratch. I don't like cluttered tight Farmyards, that are impossible to get in and out of the sheds. Court Farm across the road Farm was like that until Oxygen David altered the spacing, then it was both beautiful and playable. Thats why I had a second yard just outside the Farm. Also the original Ballyspring was a bit like that, though some of that was my fault for not reading the fact you could hide things. Pallegner is also a New Farmer Start MA7 Studio is a skilled modder I like their work a lot (they had a hand in my favourite FS19 Map Sudbury Meadows (it was getting old last time I played it and had no precision farming or seasons support but this was my favourite map that I clicked with when I was learning to play the game so I am very fond of it).

Hey Marty, thanks for the comment, some maps and starts lend themselved to New Farmer Start this was one of them, Start from Scratch would have ruined this I think. I also was very strict on what equipment was swapped and when to keep to the Survival Type Challenge. Farmer Rabbit did a fantastic job of setting the equipment as he did. I love it when the Map maker reduces the value of equipment as it shows they want it playing with that equipment and sets the challenge. I won't ruin the Episodes I will let you watch them. If this developed into a Full Let's Play Animals would be my next project. Let me know what you think if this would be a good survival challenge ?

My pleasure, thanks for creating such a beautiful believable place. I have tried to stick to what I felt was in harmony with the equipment and start point on the map without changing anything. It is very balanced and well thought out for a survival challenge type series map and if played according to that set of rules is fantastic. Hey Max, thanks for the heads up, I thought it was aiming for a Straw blower, though you can go round the back through the door and drop loose in too. Thanks for the comment though very much appreciated.

@@Eliakim2727 no problem:) I was trying this map on ps4 pro, and it was lagging slightly, so after trying different things, straw blower had to be let go, to save slots.. And thats how I figured out, that some ( not saying all) of cow barns actually accepts whole bales, just have to put them in certain places... Anyway, good day sir ;)

Hey Kyle thanks for the Feedback and with such depth, it's nice to know. I aim for balance as you say, there are some productions that are a tad too "good" though legal, I want it to represent the work I put it, though good mods are also something I definitely look for. Sorry for the slow reply too. I think you have to try to shake it up or else every single Let's Play is exactly the same. Thanks for the commendation and feedback, it keeps me on track :)

thanks Marty glad you're enjoying it, just checked and Imvani is African, ahh I went on a Website that showed all maps over the entire world, they obviously weren't quite as thorough as they said, there was only one pin on Africa :(. I wish I had known. You certainly can tell the difference between a modhub map and a third party map, things don't work properly. Yeah that is a great cow barn one of my favourites. The logging map I'm on now is intense, the density of the trees is far more than I have seen on any other map. As always thanks for the comment and commendation. I'm enjoying this series as it brings in elements I have never had to face before.

Thanks Kevin very much appreciated. It's not posted yet but I got a tree harvester in the sales so I will do some proper Tree work as I don't do it very often on the African map Gariep.

as always Chad thanks for answering that one for me. Thanks for your map choices too, I have just finished the last episode on Castelnaud, and we are moving to the Eastern Europe region. Do you have a recommendation for a map in this area? We have 1 vote for Takapajula 4x map and 1 for Lands of Italy both beautiful maps though not official mod hub maps though Lands of Italy was an FS 19 map Mr Sealy P did a Let's Play on it.

I agree totally, stuck up a tree, now that I wouldn't have thought of. It is beautiful, it is a great choice Marty, the map maker had a hand in making my favourite FS19 map Sudbury Meadows so I'm not surprised it's as beautiful as it is. It's very detailed and authentic, thanks Marty I will do my best.

it is a beautiful map, and yes it was very entertaining, I couldn't help but laugh at the ones stuck up a tree, it was very lucky, both trailers in the water would have been a terrible blow if it was deep water, to have landed in a Ford bit of the map was appreciated. Boy did it take a long time to round them all up. I do agree though, it is a learning curve and on the next switch I will do it differently now we know how it works. As always thanks for all of your comments and your opinion. I was just saying this to Chad how I appreciate both yourself and his comments as you both have steered me right on numerous occasions. It's nice to have voices you trust and that you can rely on to steer you right.

ah thanks Chad, they may be future maps to run Let's Plays on as looking at Ravenport and the extra features on that, when it rained and the road was wet I was amazed as it was so lifelike. Thanks for the information as always.

I had to look that one up, as I wasn't sure what it was Chipping Norton. Yes I could well see us going there it is an interesting map with some features I'd love to look into. So New Farmer with all that equipment, or I could swap the vehicle xml and take the equipment we had on the Start from Scratch just to make it a little different. I like your choice though, thanks Marty.

glad I wasn't alone, I always thought it had promise but I never clicked with it until this short run.

I tried that on Riverside, I got a wheel loader and the prinoth leveller but it didn't work, but I might try it again as one of the prinoth blades the pro it suggests it might work in that way. Like you I thought it might be a good idea to push the beets to it. I might give it another go. The AGI belt system works well in doing something similar, I have worked with that quite a bit and it's becoming easier to push them around, practice makes perfect. Nice to hear from you.

Hey Chad, that is really appreciated, when you do comment, I have always found your comments helpful but it is always nice to hear from you, I would appreciated comments from yourself as you say it how it is which is rare nowadays. It's a fantastic map, I love the rain on the Asphalt that Celobuki has included and the snow in winter it is really fantastic. You still get the original feel of Ravenport but with a new twist. I also love the BGA even that has an original twist. So 6 & 12 across from the BGA I've done those two and have fond memories (though the round bales kept rolling down the hill when I did those two fields !!).

Hey Chad lovely to hear from you again, and as always thanks for steering me right and letting everyone know those useful facts, that is the only trouble with creating content live, I don't poke around enough as I always go live. I love that start farm but it is land locked into the corner so for a long haul Let's Play you either have to drive a long way or make the hard choice to move. It is however for someone starting on FS 19 or 22 the best way to cut your teeth on farming as the fields are so perfect for normal workers. The Cow building you get with the farm is partially broken, it's the only thing so far I have found that doesn't quite work right.

hey that is the way CZcams processing works the low quality version (which would be for poor internet connections or phone screens) is ready immediately which as you say is terrible quality. The CZcams engine then renders the Video at different qualities for viewing so if you watched as soon as I have finished uploading a video you would only see the worse possible version. I think from other CZcamsrs if you waited a full day after me posting it is definitely watchable at 4K (unless it wasn't recorded in 4K then it would be at the quality it was recorded in). Just checked on CZcams in most cases for my kind of video length it should be watchable in about 4-5 hrs. So it's a CZcams thing that all content creators have to abide by. Hey Kevin thanks for the endorsement, I have been working on Fox Farm all week and that is getting monstrous, so that is a good indicator I'm feeling better thanks for the support though much appreciated. I have put a cut and pastable link to jotforms for people to vote for the maps (in the description for the playlist), you can either do it one map at a time or just put your choices in one jotform. I have left it anonymous for the more shy viewers and I know what you mean about Romboz that would make a great choice as the land is cheap and the fields are massive, though I still have the hour time limit for the recording. Also it's open to ideas, I am trying to fine tune it and lots of heads are better than one, so if you think of something that would be entertaining but doable please leave me a comment. As always great to hear from you, hope your move went smoothly too, the aftermath seems to take months to get over a move (well at least for my family).

The move did go well but you are right we will be sorting and unpacking for some time@@Eliakim2727 . I will keep looking for an Asian map but this one might be hard to find.

Hey you might be right, I usually buy the fuel container on Let's Plays like that or place a gas pump. It was ages ago so I can't remember off the top of my head, Adelshoven is a great map.

I agree it is a cracker of a map, I was treating it like any other then as you look around the map gives you the idea of wilds and I thought this needs to be treated differently like the area would produce distribution problems, I wanted to show that, it is a great map. This is one of those maps I'd like to do a full Let's Play on, the fields are also massive and very hilly, so challenging farming.

I could but that is part of the problem when you have 2.2 Million in the bank the world is your oyster, it's a cracking map though Marty, I would like to do a Let's Play on this or on Ballyspring, I have 6 Episodes with a unique start on Ballyspring to upload over the weekend. So as always a penny for your thoughts :)

I am trying to apply as many farming principles as possible, so although I could I'm trying to not plow around corners etc, the only thing I allow is if a trailer with unrealistic capacity drops in the sales I will allow that as it's not something I would buy normally but as a sale item it comes as is, so I allow it. The Fluffy Mods is a bit cheeky though and I do allow a little cheekiness but not out and out flouting of farming principles. Not that I don't ever make mistakes mind. But I do agree, but if I have to struggle like a farmer would then so be it

I know, it is a bit steep good job we are earning a fortune on the farm. I have seen it a few times, Frontier Map threw up some massive production costs and Agres Balconies did it the first time I ran with the soap factory. So it's a bit random

I couldn't agree more, it flowed well and naturally, it is a nice map and I felt that it would make a good Let's Play too. The Fields were very reasonable too and that helped with growth. As always thanks for the comment.

I had to post it and give everyone a laugh, that was so unbelievable, imagine that as your rules then unwittingly buying a field with the hugest generator ever and over the winter earning millions, the irony of it. Yes Barycz is great, I wanted it to be a proper start, tough no crazy productions. I hope you stick with the series the growth is nice and steady over the episodes and there are a few surprises along the way, thanks for the comment.

Thanks Kevin, I was lucky it only lasted one day so I only mildly upset it, I do try to be careful, as you say it is very painful. It was quite a full load I agree, I think you're right it probably was the most TMR I have ever loaded at one time. I am enjoying the map, I especially like the custom crops and I am so glad that finally I have properly swathed with the swathing pack, I have always wanted to do that. As always thanks for your comment and your continued support it is very much appreciated.

Thanks Cavalier Roy, I will check that out . I actually left my placeables out and just copied the vehicles and items and farmland, thus leaving all of your placeables intact. I thought it the easiest way, as I could alter my cash to reflect the exact amount I had on the original copy of the map. I'm loving the map, and I really love your new production it's a great bit of kit, with some deep surprises when you look a little deeper. It took a while for the penny to drop on all that it can do. I am showing it off in a few episodes.

I won't spoil the next episode. I will let you watch it. It is a great bit of kit but it's actually not right, I used it on Hills of Tuscany and compared the Harvest to the previous year it is down 60% so it's not quite right. I did think on Zielonka it was down but it took the Hills of Tuscany episode to confirm it. I still love it and it will get fixed no doubt.
