Truly honoured to be the granddaughter of Balwinder Kaur Dhillon. The love and loyalty of a grandparent is like no other. They will always be your biggest fans & long for your love and attention. Although the age gap is two generations, they become the closest to your heart.
To the most theatrical, hilarious, loving marshmallow. I will miss you for the rest of my life. If I am even half the the person you were, I will feel accomplished.
Not only was she my Nani, she became everyoneâs grandparent and the person that made everyone smile. If you ask anyone that has ever met my Nani⌠if she has ever made them laughâŚ. I guarantee each person would smile.
I have always heard that you can die of a broken heart. I never believed it. Until my Nani lost my nana. That truly broke her. Iâm so happy that you are reunited with him & I hope youâre bothering him again đ¤. Thank you for showing me unconditional love. I will miss fighting you and laughing with you.
Itâs weird, no one can ever truly teach out how navigate grief or even if you think you have figured it out⌠each loss just affects you so differently. Opens up apart of your heart that you didnât even know could ache. It still feels sooooo fake but real at the same time. Just feels like you are at Mammajiâs and Iâm getting mad at myself for not going and seeing you. I still canât believe it.
I know we are stuck in this go go fast pace world. Time will never stop, things will always need to be done, there will always be work but when you loose someone you never get that time back with them.
Makes me so proud that I was able to have my grandparents watch me grow up and become an adult. See me achieve my dream while making thereâs come true.
