I am a penholder and I have no problem generating strong spin for my pendulum serve.
same goes for shakehand players
I once did 140 backhand
The most complete explanation of fighting short pimples i've seen. I dont have problem beating long pimples player, but short pips sometimes frustrating😂
Nice as usual! When Im training regularly, I prefer this kind of opponents (with short or long pimples) since I tend to have more control on the game and try to win it slowly. When Im a little out of training, I prefer regular inverted rubbers for them, since I can't control the ball as much and miss easy ones, so I must go for shorter rallies.
Is the SP in the video playing with spinpips blue?
These tips are very practical. Thank you
Why didn't you involve forehead
Thanks
what if it comes very spinny?
What about medium pimples??!!! 🤔
I have been playing TT for 5 years and I am still watching this video😂
And what's the difference? Please 🥺
Wait why is that
😂😂😂😂😂
Umm what the sigma
skibidy
I'm losing TT friends after playing with medium pips.. but that's ok, they need to adapt. hahaha
Only because rightie's...can't play around.. seriously
What is long pimples?
0:50 Brush up the ball <returning backspin> or over the top of the ball <returning topspin> 1:20 practice on CD suggestion 2:10 roll ball off the table nice and fast and then hit it. ball over a pole exercise My general suggestion for table tennis: See the ball, Focus on the ball, Then hit the ball.
Su Gracias ❤
WAMP wamp
I'm convinced this shot is impossible to do for me. Doesn't matter how many tips tricks or videos I use I can't do it on an opponents backspin
After my serve during game, can a ball bounce 2 wise?
🏓🏓👍👍
Actually very useful when playing amateur tt with basic bats as the principle is the same for anti spin aka terrible bats right?
Can't short pimple players close the angle or punch through the spinny topspin?
Thanks a lot for this, couldn't find any tutorials on youtube
I am getting to like ping pong.
No, I will believe only a Chinese instructor
Why can't you just hit through it normally ignoring any spin or lack of... ❓
Spin give you safety, consistency and less errors
@@nguyenanhquynh7322 yes, but why the emphasis on lifting balls hit to you with short pimples.
@@shanelawson5072 because the ball has some little underspin
I find this one really tough. The ball keeps popping up high
It’s ping pong not table tennis
Ingenioso pero ilegal
now what if the ball hits the middle line after a serve, does this count as wrong court or a reserve or still in play?
On a serve the line is counted as in so play continues. After the serve the ball can land anywhere on the table.
@@pingskills thank you 🙏
@@jtifa You are welcome.
Just to clarify, this isn't a legal serve, right?
No it's not

What if i touched the table with the bat while hitting the ball ?
That is OK and play continues.
3 factors (1) feet position 0:55 (2) start position (3) finish position
Thanks for this.

Yes, we should really have cut straight to here :)
@@pingskills hey no disrespect intended! i just meant it to be something i can revisit. great work, just started to appreciate this incredible sport and loving the content for my learning process
@@prayaanshmehta3200 No, I think these days it is important to get straight to the point! We are definitely trying to be more concise in our newer videos. Good luck with your table tennis!
(wide, bent)
Great summary.
most important skill = hitting the table w ball 0:23 (straight, soft)
Again, great summary.
0:09 shake hand grip 1:32 pen hold grip 2:25 which?
Thanks again!
Had the privilege of regularly practising with John. Great player and person.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for this information 😊
Our pleasure 😊
Short pips can still be very effective, a fast, offensive short pip rubber works well for some people.
That is very true. There have been many top players in the World who have used short pimples.
👍🏓
I am using Stiga chop&,drive Rubber for my FH chop. The result was fantastic
Great to hear!
Indeed, really awesome. Returning chop and block are easy
