This is an remaster of the only audience source [in public circulation] for this concert via an raw-untracked transfer by The Librarian. An attempt was made to fix the azimuth problem in the beginning of Concrete Jungle and to make this monophonic recording not muddy. Even though an new audience source of this concert from an different taper [1st gen - recorded at front row center] has recently came up with an more complete Exodus, I was not allowed to use that source to make this concert complete; my apologies to anyone who attended this show who wanted to hear the complete Exodus. Even though I think that this track was artificially isolated : As a drummer myself I see that his infamous hi-hat pattern is far from perfect : The dynamics are different almost at every bars : He plays a lot on the cymbal’s etc and maybe on a cowbell with his fingers etc etc … What do you think ? 🙂

The full concert would be nice to hear. Rather than the one of the Kaya Deluxe album which consist of this show but another source. This one is way more cleaner💛💚❤️✌🏽💯

Despite being included for the 45th anniversary CD reissue of Kaya, the source used for that version of this show was not in good quality and was missing two songs [Crisis and Running Away + Crazy Baldheads]; the audio heard here is from an 2019 composite of the complete show. With the exception of The Heathen, Them Belly Full, Concrete Jungle & Rebel Music which was provided by @BobMarleyConcerts, the majority of the show was sourced from an FM Master Cassette from the collection of Jeff Knusden [whose cassettes were donated to Lossless Legs] and was mastered by the GEMS team. For those who had the privilege of witnessing a BMW concert, did he ever interact with the audience between songs or midway through the performance? I know he’d on occasion shout Selassie’s praises at the start of concert, and does band member introductions at the end. But was there any “are you all feeling irie tonight?” Or “this particular song is about…”. And I’m not talking about when Junior Marvin does hype man.
