When you have loving family or friends in your life to love you through these things and understand you're very blessed try having people that will actually make fun of you and do everything they can to rip you apart inside because they're nothing but filled with hatred, and it sucks I might have had concussions but that I can see that they're nothing different than cold-blooded murderers

I'm a patient in the UK. I have had longstanding daily pressure headaches and migraines, light and noise sensitivity, upper neck pain on one side with tension and what feels like a ball in the base of my neck, nausea, vertigo, insomnia (in relation to this condition. I also have many others unfortunately, so have to try separate what causes which.) I spoke about this and very quickly the GP veered towards anxiety and depression. I was given propranolol and sumatriptan to treat the migraine. I then thought maybe my ill health is due to my thyroid - spent years working on that until levels normalised. But my headaches pursued. I continued at the doctor, they said they can't feel anything at my neck. I remember seeing a neurologist at some point but to no avail, perhaps I was prescribed some drugs. I later saw a chiropractor for my neck fortnightly and it was a big relief. Rest assured he felt the pressure ball at the base of the skull. My stomach, muscle and joints pains got worse over the years while dealing with the incessant headache - I was generously given a fibromyalgia diagnosis before being tested for much else, as they had already sprinkled me with anxiety and depression although I was only seeking for answers to fairly serious symptoms. All this shutting down achieved exactly just that - it shut me down. Then I spent some years suffering quite badly and working through it all. The headaches, the ibs, hormones and difficult menses, unstable joints and a heart that seemed to race no matter what I did. After working full time, studying part time online with so many illnesses while being invalidated and not supported in any way - and finding out the person I was building a life with had betrayed me and was lying to my face about it - my mind and body completely collapsed into a dark well for several years. Somewhere in that well, I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia, Autoimmune Thyroid condition, Endometriosis... I tested positive for Borreliosis. I believe based on my symptoms that I have MCAS and I am very sure that I have Chiari. I did have a ultrasound performed in 2012 on the back of my neck outside of the UK. The result of this ultrasound said they found a "Collection of uneven cells 2,2 x 1 cm. Fibroma." The point of me sharing this pointlessly long comment is - we know our bodies. We share our stories. We share our stories, as a collection of symptoms. We present to others as impressions. Who knows what I reminded the doctors of - some anxious classmate of theirs, or a depressed actress they had seen portrayed in a movie somewhere. The point is - from the beginning of me sharing my symptoms to the doctor, I could feel exactly what is going on. Even when they invalidate for a decade. If you are reading this and you are a parent, or you are a woman, or you are a migrant, a disabled person, or a young person - please know your truth and express it with dignity, grace and kindness. If you do not, you risk losing your livelihood.

I was told by a neurologist there was nothing he would do . Yes , he refused to treat me . At least he let me know I had this condition . Minor lifestyle changes manage it for the most part , no more weight lifting or heavy lifting of any kind . Feels like someone hit me in the back of the neck with a baseball bat when it acts up . Not to mention when it gets throbbing ..... thats a different matter all together . After two previous neck operations to fuse vertebra 3-6 I doubt I can find a surgeon to treat it when it becomes too much for me to handle myself .

The same thing happened to me. I was diagnosed when I was 5 (no surgery) and had minor symptoms up until a couple years ago. Now I'm 25 and 3 car accidents later and my symptoms literally affect my daily life in every way possible for the last 3 years.

Hi I had a head injury 5 days ago. As per this video can say it's moderate. I went to hospital and had MRI scan and the doctor said its normal. But till now I'm having pain on my neck, back shoulder both side and more pain on left and also having ear pain from 3rd day. On 3rd day I consult with another doctor and he said I'm having ear infection and have antibiotics with Ear Drops. But till now I'm having pain. Is this normal and will take few days to recover or I need to go for further treatment.
