Misfortunes of the Living (RIP Cynthia)
A little over a year ago I started writing again, after almost a decade of giving too much credit to "friends" who either didn't understand what a first draft was, or consistently accused me of plagiarism in those times I'd find my voice by acknowledging my pain.
On August 22, 2023, a close friend whom I initially bonded over shared trauma and our thoughts on writing 18 years ago, and then later photography in our 20's, passed away.
For anyone who's "put up" with me since then, I'll never be able to properly thank you, as it does get incredibly lonely within grief when most of people simply don't have the patience for those actively suffering with grief. It especially gets alienating when people assume you're flaking on them to "wallow in your misery," when really you're struggling to sleep more than 3-4 hours, and you learn to stay silent rather than explain how you still haven't "moved on" from the guilt you feel for not being there for someone who never turned their back on you. It's not a romanticizing of pain, but an acknowledgement of what a person meant to you, doubly so as a fellow artist who struggled with self-confidence and depression... someone who, just like you, had their own hopes and dreams they'd yet to attain - now gone, never to see those things through - while you're still here, dealing with those same hurdles, with people dancing around the crux of their arguments that death isn't something to take seriously, when it's something I spent most of my 20's familiarizing myself with.
On August 22, 2024, one year later - 10 minutes shy from when Cynthia's life ended - I read a piece I'd been working on for the better part of the past year, fulfilling a promise I made in High School, writing something for her. It's still not done, but given how much it makes me cry reading it, I know it's close. This is a 3 minute clip of it.
RIP Cynthia Garcia.

    For those who accidentally touch their shutter button and fire a shot, just don’t advance the film until you are ready to take the shot. The light shutter button is to have less movement when taking a shot.

    I’m surprised there aren’t more videos like this, I mainly got my Polaroid Now+ for low light photography and it’s been hit or miss mostly because a lot of it is trial and error. I did manage to get 3 that I’m pretty proud of. One was of a neon sign at a motel in South Dakota, the other was a view of the fool with the city skyline. The buildings didn’t come out too clearly but you can make out the lights and signs as well as the pool lighting. My favorite one was taken in my bedroom, an analog TV on a shelf with some VHS tapes and my GameCube very clearly illuminated by the purple Christmas lights I have strewn around my room.

How many people die of respiratory diseases each year? I bet you don't know... In Australia where they have the least deaths from cv-19 and worst lockdowns, 10,000 people die each year from respiratory disease (yes, covid is a respiratory disease). Less than 1,000 diesd of covid. The world will be safe with useful idiots like you giving up your rights and freedoms, except abortion, that's her body and her choice, but only if she doesn't want the vaccine. Vaccines have always been mandatory for medical health professionals - which I am - as well as public schools, especially after the science has proven time and time again that they work, and dumbasses like yourself constantly show we must approach things this way - when ya'll shout about "waking up" and "not being sheep" while chasing misinformation about hydroxychloroquine, false flag ops, and cleaning out stores with horse dewormers. Politics were injected into C19 discussion by your side of the spectrum to side-step the piss poor response while simultaneously silence any reminder that this pandemic should still be taken serious. What's a matter - can't bring up how this virus only effects the eldery when the Delta variant corrected for that? Piss the fuck off if - as someone who actually worked as an EMT during the height of this pandemic - you fucking think I'll stfu about what I think on my channel at the risk of annoying people who would actually piss me off in person. I do not want to get along with any of you and I want ya'll to be alienated by me.

      @@ManuelGuzmanPhotography Stop talking. I am also a mental health practitioner, and I am NOT made to take vaccines I don't agree with. I also asked my local GP, he also said you are full of shit. You know what you know because you were told. When was the last time you had a critial thought let alone an original one? Almost all "modern" vaccines were made mandatory long after rates of MMR (even polio) infection dropped to what they have stayed at for the last 60 years. Yes dickhead, they were already on the way down long before "science" had any part to play. How quickly we forget big pharma... The reduction in almost all the viruses and bacteria that causes many of the vaccinated health issues were already on the way down thanks to clean living conditions, availability of good food, clean water, hygiene practises, and all the other modern living condition changes thanks to coal and oil-driven power production in the west and first world cultures. The continued prevalence of these diseases are almost exclusively in poor, unclean, underdeveloped countries (in some local cases poor immigrant areas) that in their country of origin can't use carbon to change their living conditions.. I bet you also think CO2 is the main driver for climate change, whatever that means. But morons will be morons. As for pissing the f_ck off... Well put you leftist hate-mongering tyranical ideologue.

    • @ManuelGuzmanPhotography
      @ManuelGuzmanPhotography Před 2 lety

      @@GoA7250 Don't stand behind the title as though we didn't just have a scandal about medical professionals producing fake vaccination cards - seriously, making an appeal to authority because of what your GP said (if I even choose to believe you had the guy on speed dial and didn't just pull that out of your ass) then saying "you only know what you're told?" ESPECIALLY when you just pulled out a debunked bit of misinformation about the polio vaccine as fact; pretty much confirming my suspicion you get your info from memes and social media pundits. A graph from Our World In Data shows that cases of Polio peaked in the U.S. in the year 1952, with 57,879 cases. Once the vaccine became widely available in 1955, this figure dropped to 29,000 cases. So, to claim that polio cases were dropping significantly before this point is a bullshit lie. Further, your reactionary "tyrannical ideologue" projection; pretty sure your anti-choice wet-dream is already on display charging women with murder charges for miscarriages - so let's not pretend you're the side on freedom and liberty when it's clear all your talking points come from the usual suspects who fostered a "stolen election" narrative and now play defense for domestic terrorists. Your arguments are as old as that racism you're laying out for me as bait - I already saw this same pandemic response and backlash with the Spanish Flu. Guess what? Mask wearing and anti-science skepticism towards super spreader events were an issue then, too. Look at what happened to Philadelphia now and 100 years ago. You're not original and if history has shown anything, it's that progress will continue and you'll pretend you didn't believe this shit when you start to feel the embarrassment. Opening up all this by asking me what the alt-rght was while starting to inch towards their rhetoric, then completely side-step my initial response about not wanting to get along with people like you; thank you for the validation, dumbass.

    #Covid_vaccine has the structure of HIV same as covid 19 virus to deceive your immunity system to create T-Cell perish together with the virus(just like overclocking immunity system temporarily), but unable to deceive the new covid 19 variant, the virus will permanently stay at human body's T-Cell then cause it malfunction to duplicate, destroy and spread even you have fully recovered from covid infection or fully vaccinated. Covid vaccine is a resistance of covid virus to create new variant, it only able to hide the symptoms after get infected, at the same time to enhance your immunity system to against the virus temporarily like 'MURPHY', "against the virus not eliminated", currently the opportunity to the death of having vaccine injection is less due to it's ineffectiveness since vaccine maker has been modified it to be safe. Vaccine manufacturer can be sued now after FDA fully approve those vaccine, this is great liberty status evolution. A lot of people death or having long term adverse reaction in vaccination before, and the government still keep hiding the truth.,,.,.35
