The auto driver ( tuck tuck as you call ) are very resourceful, but some of them are unscrupulous especially the ones in north India and in Tamil Nadu, as regards to the liquor stores , in Kerala they are hidden from public eye , though everyone drinks ..but one can make out these shops miles away as you will find serpentine queues of tipplers ( interestingly , it’s only for liquor we indians can patiently wait for hours !) the stuff the lady gave you is very cheap stuff.. she may not know what’s good and bad.. ideally good Indian whiskies are Royal Challenge, Royal stag barrel select, Peter Scot, signature, 100 pipers , we also have some fabulous single malts like Indri, John Paul, Amrut etc.. a suggestion - avoid Kochi, alleppy circuit , it’s become too touristy , predictable and window dressed. try north Malabar , Calicut, Wayanad, Kannur , Mahe ( my hometown ❤ and erstwhile French colony) trust me you will be awed by the natural beauty, food and rich cultural heritage ..

In regards to tuk tuk drivers you just say i will tip you well at the end of tour so please don’t take me to factories, craft stores etc I know India and won’t buy! It works be gentle be generous and they respect you remember you and bless you. Gerald I used over 2 days in fort kochi took me to lu lu mall waited etc and grabbed my hands day two to bless me for my big kind heart ❤I have his phone number and u just called him day 2 and he came with in minutes that day touring fort kochi he say pay what you want he refused to say an amount but what I gave him he blessed my hands so obviously enough! He’s happy the 3 of us happy so a win win for everyone 🙏 best way to visit and see India 🇮🇳 they have nothing please respect them and remember this compared to us ‘nothing’

Do visit northern kerala, a very less-travelled area, but equally as beautiful, many waterfalls to enjoy

Actually that is goosberries,its rich in vitamin c its using to make pickles,and for ayurvedic medicines,you can eat it one or two piece daily and have some water after you eaten..you will feel sweetness not the bitterness.

Go to North India especially Bihar, UP, Delhi and Rajasthan. They are beautiful places and people are so nice. You are right in Kerala everything is expensive and lots of touts are present.

Palakd famous malabuzadam and near 🐍snakes park and fish aquarium, and, tipu sultan fort is famous attractions, you guys miss that,, you guys eat gooseberry its sweet after you drink water, i like goosbery😊, you should have visited nemara temple festival during fireworks🎇😊

Palakkad is the hottest district in Kerala but it is very beautiful. Only domestic tourists vist here...

24:12 is called gooseberry, very healthy berry. It's mainly used to make pickle. When eating as it is ,dip in salt and eat. This berry is dipped in honey for say a month and eaten . This is the most important ingredient in preparation of ayurveda medicine called chavanaprasham. Which is very good for your health.....

Never choose bus in kerala until 2025 , where train is available . entire high way is under repair . sleepar bus itselfe is a foolish idea , You could have asked them to stop in next bus station with wash room ,

I think you guys are in the wrong perception that Kerala tourism is cheap tourism ‼️.... its 100% wrong✅...... if you try to go.... cheap... cheap‼️..... You will end up with....trouble..... trouble‼️..... like in any part of the world✅✅✅.... if you spent Rs650 only and want luxury not possible✅
