I'm from the South, and I was forced to learn a very racist name for the last game he described, at a very tender age I might add. If you know what that name is, I just made you think of it! You just said it in your mind, you racist! 😂 Yeah, hide and seek and tag were pretty standard, but occasionally we could get all the boys from the neighborhood together and have a dirt clod war. We'd divide up into armies, collect ammo from some piles of dirt that were moved for some access road to the freeway in the woods behind where some of us lived, and just phuking go! Some kids got black eyes and welts on their heads, fat bruises all over their body, nothing was off limits as a target, it was stupid sh! I don't even know wtf we did it, it was some Lord of the Flies sh! 😂
