That was another overpriced boxset, but I agree, the content was much better. They just seem to be phoning it in these days in every way.

Everyone’s ideal Setlist will differ. I don’t mind the lack of certain hits, personally I’d rather hear deep cuts from Somewhere In Time. I do think Hallowed Be Thy Name should be in the set without question tho

@@TheCDGuyJZ Kiss had a very interesting setlist over many years. Kiss understood that some songs had to be played at just about every show. And what's sort of funny is no one really ever complained that these songs were cemented into the setlist. Rock And Roll All Night, Detroit Rock City, Black Diamond, Love Gun, Shout It Out Loud, Cold Gin to name a few very stuck in songs. Imagine the outcry if these songs were ignored!

@@TheCDGuyJZ And a second point that related to playing in Australia, Kiss would add songs that were very popular here to the set list, it was to a point flexible as long as the sync tape was adjusted for Paul Stanley.

I completely agree. I'm mostly a completist with the bands I enjoy, but I've drawn the line at overpriced boxsets too, unless it's something really cool and well done to make an exception.

This was their last good album IMO, but it's definitely not as strong as the earlier stuff. Cash grab for sure, but as long as people pay it, nothing will change.

I’d love to hear Sea Of Madness live. I’m fine with not having Stratego since we got it on the last leg of LOTB. I would add Hallowed for sure and probably keep Hell On Earth, although The Parchment would be epic live too.

I was thinking that myself… I’m not the biggest fan of Motley ‘94, but wouldn’t it make more sense to do a 30th anniversary of that instead of redoing the Dr. Feelgood boxset?

@@TheCDGuyJZ it is insane indeed. I decided not to buy tickets, even though I came to the point where I could select and pay for them. Ticketmaster raised the prices by more than 50% by that point.. I am a massive fan of Oasis, but I am not supporting these idiotic ticketprices Ticketmaster asks anymore with their “in demand ticket” scheme. You are right Johnny, it IS gluttony and it would be good if everyone would pass on these insanely expensive tickets or boxsets or whatever a band is selling. But we all know there is always someone who has too much money, and will pay those prices…

@@TheCDGuyJZ I was in the position to buy Oasis tickets. I came to the point where you could choose and buy tickets. But at that point, Ticketmaster already raised the prices by 50%, as did the airlines who nearly doubled their prices. I am a massive Oasis fan, but I refuse to pay these prices and put even more money in Ticketmasters and promotors pockets with this scam called "in demand tickets". It is, like you so spot-on called it, gluttony. Would I have purchased them, it would have cost me $ 2250 for me and my son. And that is just for the tickets and the flight, not for the stay and food and drinks etc.. This will not stop, unless we all start to stop paying these prices. But we all know that is not going to happen, there is always someone who pays it. This also goes for box-sets like this one, there will always be fans who must have it and buy it.

I wish vinyl wasn’t so expensive… CDs aren’t much better in terms of price these days. The only thing stopping me from pre ordering is that CDs usually arrive damaged/cracked in the mail… it’s just easier to pick it up at a record store.

I thought Mike was going to be the only singer too. I think Emily's range will be better for the Chester material tho. The track is fun, I wouldn't call it an all time great, but I can't wait to hear the rest of the album... I'm assuming they're still holding some surprises close to the vest.

The band did an interview with billboard and in the interview Mike said Rob told them years ago he needed to put some distance between himself and the band. When the time came for the band to do the hybrid theory 20th anniversary and the best of album Rob never showed up to anything they did for it and ultimately when the time came to record the new album he opted out.

I don’t know the whole story with Rob. It’s a bummer that he’s not a part of the comeback, but Colin Brittain is going to kill it for sure. It does feel a little odd to hear LP without Rob, but this whole thing is uncharted waters right now.

I can definitely hear the similarities. No doubt the band have been workshopping material for years... Hopefully this new era comes with a boom of new stuff.

I’m not a fan of Linkin Park personally. And I didn’t think the new single was as fantastic as many think. But at the same time Linkin Park still has a big audience, there is talent in that bad and its members. That cannot be denied. Just because they aren’t your cup of tea doesn’t mean they are crappy. You sound like a 12 year old when someone mentions a band you don’t like and bash them for it. And to go to the length of not scrolling past and saying “not my thing” you purposefully stop to be a jerk. I donno if you think it makes you seem all big and bad for doing so but u can sure you it just shows your lack of mental stability and intellectual intelligence.
