What's a typical lifetime of this gas insert?
I'm replacing a Lenox gas insert fireplace used as our primary heat source that was installed 20 years ago with a Lopi. The Lenox (no longer makes inserts) still works fine just showing its age. So, I would say a good quality brand with proper care should last at least 20 years.

I paid several thousand a few years ago and every year it doesn't work. If I had it to do again, I would buy a different brand.
I can’t seem to find the trim kit for a 36 inch I don’t think they sell it if I’m wrong and I am hoping I am I would love to get some information from you on how to get the trim kit? Thanks!

Is it possible to permanently turn off the heating from the unit so that it cannot be turned on from the remote control?
