Do you have a video on how you did the oil cooler lines?
Hey boss. Do you still have that guys info in Texas. Going the same route but hitting dead ends
That was a good video, very clearly put across.
Like the music. Go Rush!
Put a lash tool under both adjuster pins balance the resistance and lock set nuts. More reliable than doing 1 at a time. You get 1 set then try to bring other to it. Instead, bring both to resistance then set. By using 2 feeler tongues your balance is achieve way easier and more accurate. Same motor gs 1100esx and running full drag motor build. 13.5 to 1 mtc forged pistons w/.60 over bore oversized valves, huge web cams I have to degree no matter what, but that has nothing to do with setting lash. Big cams are degreed with zero lash then after your degreed in you go back and set lash off the heel of cam lobe. The dead zone basically. Try it once you won't do one at a time ever again. Ride Safe
Change the sprockets for longer gearing???
Use a torque wrench not an impact, and if more than 50 lbs and it won't budge, smack the puller with a BFH. That puller you got was junk, so maybe it would have let go at step 1. But for others struggling with this... next step, if the BFH doesn't work, I'd heat it with a torch. The flywheel will expand more than the larger mass of the crankshaft. For stuck stuff, I always use heat and a mix of ATF and acetone or aerosol if there is access to shoot it in (bearing races, etc). I had to do this way on my old Norton for many things, thankfully I could put engine cases in the BBQ to about 300F. Sometimes they just dropped out.
Hi mate Did you ever come up with a way to tune / position the pickup for 2/3 ??
Oooh, I've really been looking at the coffman shorty for my own CB. How's it sound?
Hi, can I use this video for my next video? THANKS !
how is the windshield at nighttime ?
Absolutely beautiful bike sir. This bike is on my radar. I saw that you crashed. Glad youre ok and still with us.
I just bought 2021 model with 8500km, around 5000 miles and it is an amazing first bike to learn on and it is a lot of safe fun. It won't jerk too much if you are not careful with clutch or gas
What's the setting of the cams
What size jets did you run. Im trying to get my rs36's dialed in
Hello! Can I share this cool video for my youtube edit? I'll credit you on screen of course.
Hey mate, would it be nice to feature your clip in my next episode? Credited of course (watermark and link to your channel).
Thanks. I have an 1150 I'm trying to split, and the dead blow hammer on the case halves is just making solid sounds like something is going to break off if I hit it any harder. It's like the cases are welded together. Never had any other crankcases so solidly stuck together like this before. I had to watch this as a sanity check to be sure I didn't miss any hidden bolts, like behind the starter clutch. I don't have my flywheel puller right now, so I thought there might have been bolts behind the starter clutch that I can't see. Nope. I've done GS1100's before, but this is my first time at an 1150. The cases are practically identical as far as I can see. Now I'm thinking the last person either used too much sealant, or the alignment dowels are badly corroded and seized......wish me luck!
Hi my friend, is it okay if I introduce you in myy next video? Of course, I will give you full credit. Thank youu !
Hello, Rider! Hope you're doing great! :D Love this clip! Would it be OK if we used it in a youtube video we're making and maybe share it on our social media? We'll credit you in the video and all descriptions. Thank you! :) Can you explain what happened? :)
So you don’t have to take off the seat to get to the battery?
my experience with my 2022 CX-5 Signature during first -30C day of ownership; check engine light on, parking brake light on, traction control light on, warning messages in dash: front radar sensor system malfunctioning, smart brake system malfunctioning, driver attention alert disabled. alert messages on Mazda app: parking brake malfunctioning, driver attention alert disabled, dynamic stability control malfunctioning, engine malfunctioning, front radar sensor malfunctioning, I active sense system malfunctioning, Mazda radar cruise control disabled, smart braking support (SBS) and forward obstruction warning (FOW) systems are disabled, traffic jam assist disabled, smart brake support (REAR) disabled. car stutters/misfires, not able to drive faster than 30km/ph. got my 1 year old car towed to dealership. other than that, great winter driver!
One of the best kept secrets in small SUVs is how good the Mazda cx 5 is in the snow.Nice useful review.
As a New Englander I’m like what’s the big deal?!? This is like just another day in the winter, business as usual. Definitely don’t need chains for that shit lol.
Lol..
Nice looking bike 👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁🤞✌️
does it have the omologation to use it in eu ?
Really nice work. I´m interested in your speedometer. Brand and model. Easy to install? I have 1100 ES 1983.
Привет! А вы не скажите, сальники клапанов подойдут от GS 1100 E на GSX 1100 F
Hello mate, quick question. I have a simmilar scratch to yours on the clutch cover (on the other side). Did you repaint it or change it completely?
What is that headlight fairing? Thanks,
What did you end up doing? I would assume all you need to do is set the 1-4 and dont worry about the 2-3 since it is 180 apart.
Where u get that speedo nd head light nd was it plug nd play
Your exhaust upgrade may have cut a few pounds off of the 423lbs as well as the rear fender delete.
This is not winter conditions. Trivial. Road was salted and sanded. Anything with decent tires including pickups with 2 wheeldrive are driving with no problem. And its flat. Phfftttpppp.
Just built a 82 gs1100es complete motor. But full drag race. I Did mtc 5pin slider clutch , mtc 13:5 to 1 forged pistons , complete head I did all a.p.e. components cam sprockets, cam chain, stainless valves , 400lb. Springs retainers, I cut the valve seats to 1.5mm over on intake and 1.0mm on exhaust ,guides were removed and bronze put in. Full underutilized transmission ,all 3 shift forks are forged , did a big port and polish on head , matched ports with molding putty w/match port cuts from carbs to head and exhaust head alot of hours in that port an polish. I did full lowboy Koenig front end, I built a club foot swing arm 8.5inch longer . Full dyna tek ignition system w/drl 400 2step box , went with a rc battery powered set up to pull 14.2 volts to coils (full loss). Rc comp.3blade drag wheels 7inch rear wheel . Drive is 630 X 142links with 5/8 inch offset front sprock and an outboard carrier bearing cover from D and G. Electric to air pinged shift assy. Stock crank but freshly disassembled and full rebuild w/ world bearing components etc.. rebranded and welded up. All work but the sleeves and cut to piston size I did myself . Had alot of fun and a couple of hair pulling moments. Great motors and still used today in motorcycle dragracing. Long live the gs 1100 motors..
I had that Coffman slip on exhaust on my cb300f, and I think it needed a tune cuz I was losing my max speed of 90mph Down to 80mph. If I get this for my cb500f will I need a tune too?
I appreciate this video. I was trying to see what the inside of the clutch cover looks like, and I couldn't find anything else online. Your video showed what I was looking for!
Where did she end up going?
nice mods <3
I love your CB500F. You've done a great job fixing it. I am looking forward to owning a CB500F in the future. Ride safe!
Why do people want louder exhaust sounds?
What parts do I need to set my front end like yours. I have a very nice 82 gs1100e
Essa frente da Givi ficou top.
Essa máquina é linda, azul. No Brasil ainda não vi dessa cor...
Constructive critique… less talk more important facts first then talk all you want
Essa cor é linda ainda não vi nenhuma azul rodando no Brasil. Tenho uma vermelha.
Ainda não troquei o escape da minha estou usando o original mesmo o som é incorpado.
Great video brah! I have a Harley Roadglide but I was a second bike to rip around the city (I live in NYC) the cb500f has caught my eye bad!!! I’m going crazy watching videos lol
Riding home I pulled up next to a bmx’er type bike. Dude pulled out wheelies all over behind me. I was yelling my head off at him. I think it’s so cool. But dangerous. It’s like a present for me. I’m an old lady , too. But I don’t think you can tell with my gear on. Airbag, helmet and all. Haha.
Hey KR, I have a 1981 GS1100E, A intake rocker broke. Got that replaced. Then notice cam chain was starting to come apart. Got a new chain riveted in. My problem is. I remove the intake cam, got it set to the T. Then I line up the 1 2 and 3 and for20 pins. Then I put the cam tensioner back in. The when I rotate the back around once then again. Line up the T but the cams are not exactly facing in even. And 2,3 are not exactly vertical, or if move until the 1 is set the T is not lined up. What is going on here. Frustrated.
So does it help with wind? Can you update us please
Yes please!
Does it help with your head/helmet wind? Or even make it worse?
