This Pitts S2B is one sporty little ride! Thanks to Full Deflection for providing some awesome training with a lot of fun. Come with us to Spanish Fork (KSPK) airport to drop off my 1974 Piper Cherokee 180 for its 100 hour inspection, and then hop in this little red sports car to get some wild time! They also have a Super Decathlon you can train in if you want the less sporty version.

Simple Way to Determine Aircraft Position Using a VOR, CDI, and OBS
I struggle the most with VORs but this video just helped me visualize them! Thank you so much!
So glad it was helpful
Thank you.
Thanks for watching
Well done. Can you now explain the heading correction east is least west is best😢
Ill see what I can do
Intresting but not simple
This is awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. It really helps!
Your welcome
Some of the unique airspace you were referring to can be found on VFR sectionals in Alaska, near the north slope.
Thanks I see what you are talking about
Super
Oh my goodness, why didn't I see this video when I was working on my instrument rating?!? Super easy and super helpful to understand!
I understand VOR's however, Trying to do this under the hood flying by instruments only and holding my headings, altitude to ACS standards. I can manage to tune the two VOR's but trying to graph two lines on my Foreflight or paper maps to find my position is super difficult for me. I end up loosing my heading or altitude as I am under instrument. I can only take my eyes off the instruments for like 2 seconds at a time and that's not enough time for me to even try to start the graph line. Easy on the written exam but super hard doing it when flying under the hood. Is there any tricks to this. I have my Private Pilot check-ride coming up and need to find my position under the hood and stay in ACS standards.

One must be, a pilot first, under FAA - KUIMAKA TOKYO!
Very, very helpful. I’m gonna watch this thing over and over until I get it cold.
Awesome. Glad it was helpful
Guage? Twice on the same screen?
Good catch. I’ll have to have my wife do a good spellcheck before I submit the next video.
@@Loves2Fly still a great video.
I have a radio at home so if I want distracting guitar music while I’m trying to learn something, I can assure you, I will turn it on to lose focus. Unbelievable
Sorry the music was so distracting. Check our music free versions
You’re a whole lot easier to watch than John and Martha.
Thanks
Helicopter pilots bless their hearts?
Inside joke. Im a helicopter pilot also
Class A for airliners Class B for the big boys Class C and D for the ControlleD Class G for ground E for everywhere else Cessna 152 everywhere But class G during the day can be used by recreational guys with 1 mile coc. Then just remember F111 above 10K And 3m coc in class B
I like that!
Excellent!!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Extremely helpful thanks
Glad to hear it!
this was really well explained and made it finally click after trying to learn vor's and how they work from like 3 different people thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
I’m still struggling on telling what class airspace I can be at a certain MSL Help
The best way to learn is draw it on a piece of paper from the side view.
I have to admit that this is the most accurate explanation to really understand VORs , THANK YOU THANK YOU
You are very welcome
The only thing I struggled with while doing my holding pattern is to know my position in relation to the VOR before starting my holding entry. This video is awesome. Much appreciated thank you!
The important thing to remember if run out of time to think, is always turn in the direction of the protected side, in other words, turn to the direction where the holding pattern is depicted
Thanks for sharing your videos, i'm just starting out working on my ppl. i'm having trouble understanding some of what i'm reading. So i feel im not as far as i need to be with my studies. I can see that videos seem to bring me up to speed or help me make sense understand much quicker. If you could recommend something i'm all ears. Thanks.

What is the confusing part?
@@Loves2Fly i got it thanks.
Why is it 5-111 over 10k feet
FAA regulations to provide more separation between faster moving airplanes
Best explanation ever.
Glad you think so!
Agle of attack. Agle? Agle?
HAHA good catch. My wife is my spell check and she was not there the day I pushed this video.
Check out PAFM on a sectional. Go north. I use this area to describe how echo airspace is built around airports with instrument approaches, and how much of the US was like this when there were only a third of the approaches we have today. Excellent video. Your friendly neighborhood Arctic CFI.
Looking now! Thanks for the tip
I'm a student pilot and really appreciate your explanation and walkthrough. Great work!

The F-111 and C-152 was such an incredible reference. I’ll never forget that
Awesome, thanks
I love these videos OMG :D
Thanks
All these angles, percentages etc mean nothing and is only clouding the issue to pass the FAA exam
Sorry it wasn’t helpful
Best freaking explanation ever! Great teacher
Best freaking compliment, ever! Thanks
background music makes it difficult to hear/understand your speech

I am taking my PAR written test tomorrow. This was so helpful, that I almost had given up on these requirements. Thanks a lot.
Thanks
You are not so good at lecturing. You are good at confusing your viewers.
What would make it better?
Turn the bullshit background noise off
Check out the no music version if the music bothers you. Please notice the title “…with music”
I'm here for my NCATT AET DNS endorsement because I heard there a lot of this on there.
