This vehicle is merely a Trojan horse to get data about this engine in real world conditions before a variant appears in the R36. They could easily drop this engine in an Infiniti sedan the size of the 3 Series and call it the Skyline.

Slower? Motortrend just tested it, 0-60 in 5.3 and 14 flat in the quarter. A full 1 second faster all around than the V8 model.
@@glendaleinfinitiLA i saw it reviewed 0-60 times was 6.5 live it's not faster then the V8 it was 5.8 0-60 in the review I saw it supposed to be lighter and faster and it's not they infiniti is lying plus there turbos are not reliable keep a warranty i have a buddy is the service manager at Infiniti he hates the turbos cause there problems

Owned many QX80s. Love the new one. Been asking for massage seats, high end sound system, pano roof. Etc. They did an amazing job. Motor completely failed. That motor belongs in the QX60, qx55, q60, q50. QX80 need a V8 twin turbo. 4.4 or bigger. No less than 600hp before any mods. Ford, toyota failed putting small displacements on full size. Full size cant and will never be able to be pushed properly by a v6 regardless of power. Need a V8 Twin Turbo
Why is 600hp your benchmark? There’s only like 30 cars with that and a majority of them are super cars. This doesn’t need a V8. MPGs matter even as gear heads we don’t want them to.

The only thing that would make me switch from Nissan and Infiniti is the sound system. Hopefully, Nissan keep Bose on the Armada/Patrol. I got the 2013 Armada Platinum in 2013 and I chose the Nissan because of the Bose since Toyota Sequoia had the JBL which sucks.
I love the current Bose but this thing sounds insane for a factory system.
