Definitely is my favorite of all Irish rebel tunes! I've heard several versions over the years but this is the best one. Great vocals and performance! Brings tears to your eyes, so full of passion and emotion! Also, really love Sinead O'Connor's version! She sings it with more of a feisty attitude, after all, that's what it's really all about when you know the lyrics. It'd be great to see this story in a movie honoring Gracie for her heroics. Éireann go bragh! Thiocfaidh ár lá!☘️🇨🇮

All grandparents were born in Ireland... all spoke Irish... makes me very angry that the culture at the time was NOT to teach children/grandchildren their language (sadly, out of fear for their lives...) unlike cultures today who refuse to learn English... I was definitely robbed of my heritage...
