New vapor-induced phase-separation 3D-printing method developed by UF engineers
This new 3D printing method allows for the creation of multi-material objects economically and sustainably. UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering Professor Yong Huang tells us how this method enables the possibilities for printing advanced materials with tunable porosity such as medical implants or lightweight aerospace products.

Very cool. Is the vapor toxic? Is standard fume extraction good enough or do other special precautions need to be taken?
The vapor is not toxic. Here is a link to the article published in Nature for more information: www.nature.com/articles/s41467-024-47452-9
I spend hours in that room with no respiratory protection and it’s fine

Of course the 30yo thinks hip hop is vital research....try doing a proper science...can you tell the difference between the scientific method and what you do ?
Social science is science
@UFexplore tell me what is the scientific method ?
Albino?
Close! Albinism is a total lack of pigmentation. This is leucism - less pigmentation. It's really rare: Going all the way back to 1929, Dr. Gazda found only 14 reports of leucism in dolphins worldwide before this sighting.
Hello, does the lidar detect dead trees? I need to know if its possible to detect how many trees survived over a 25 hectare plot.
Was this research gathered by too White researchers or a.fair mix? I only ask this question because an article on Shark Week claimed misanalysis I the programs, and one theory was because of the race or color of the scientists - being way too White.... Now I'm totally onfused
