The games algorithm interference is way to much even in practice mode, you have to follow a set path of moves the game wants you to do and thats a fact.

Modern fighting games are just soulless and dumbed down to attract new brainless fans. Tekken 3, 4, 5, Tag 1 were peak.

Tekken 8 is the worse tekken to experience first cause if this new system carrying half the players

I actually have a copy of detective pikachu myself. The game is really bad with poor animation and graphics. I have theory on why this exists. The game was meant to advertise the movie, and was meant to be a decent game until switch came out. Because nobody wants ds games anymore, the company decided to release it on the ds anyway and hope it gets sales.

Here’s something you should’ve included that wasn’t on the iceberg, that being Sonic.EXE allegedly plagiarised a pre-existing creepypasta called “El Pendrive Azul” and its unofficial sequel Sally.EXE plagiarised an older Sonic creepypasta animation made by a CZcamsr named Chinelin.

A note about Makoto as Ryu‘a sister…Gouken has a daughter in the official lore (and has since SF1). Capcom has tried bringing her back twice so far. The first time ended up evolving into Sakura, the second Makoto. You can see traces of this in her backstory with her father being a big-time dojo master. Originally she was going to be seeking Ryu out to bring him back to watching the dojo, scolding him for traveling all the time and neglecting his duties to the dojo’s upkeep. It would have been interesting but Capcom changed it in the development process. It would be interesting to see if Capcom ever really brings Gouken’s daughter back, perhaps it could be Fuka from the Generations anime (as she was never given a proper name as of yet)?

The Croc and Mario 64 thing isnt true. It was an urban legend and was denied by ex argonaut employees as never actually having happened.

Making a lot of enemies this month... but is he wrong? Google will refund you money if they mess up and close some projects like Stadia. Warner Bros at best will take the game down, stop DLC till it gets patched enough or both (Arkham Knight PC). I have too many good or even mediocre Smash alternatives to play to chase the new F2P hotness.

the problem with heat and chip damage system is that every character is a rushdown character now. this makes every match the same, you dont play the character, the character plays you. toghether with breaking other cardinal tekkenrules it is hard to still call this a tekkengame. i have 4000 hours in t7 but i have quit after 300 hours in t8. T8 is boring, takes away player agency, takes away tekken, all the matches and characters feel the same... they tried to make it more exciting but for someone like me, its dumbed down and so so boring.

Don't forget DOA as 3D competition... of course T8 feels like it's trying to not monetize QUITE as badly as that last DOA, but to get as close as it can without triggering that massive backlash DOA got.

I prefer t8 over sf6. Playing street fighter 6 I could be on a 10 game win streak and be mad for some reason. T8 even tho someone less skilled can pull off a win , It still has a lot of substance, especially if you're new to the game.

Imo 8 is the best Tekken, Tekken 7 was turtle meta, now its more balanced.

I've been saying since release that this game is dumbed down, has a lower skill ceiling, rewards play that would usually keep people low rank in previous tk games etc. The room to improve seemed endless in previous Games, but now the reward for engaging in mindless offence is much higher than the reward for playing defensive with whiff punishes, timing, patience etc.

I will give you props for your honesty, at least you acknowledging the fact that CZcamsrs go negative on purpose just for views. That being said, Tekken 8 is sadly not a good game. The single player content is very shallow in quality and with no replay value that gets longer than one month as well as having barely any variety (all you got are regular CPU battles, Ghost battles, Tekken Ball and a sprinkle of Tekken 6 Scenario Campaign), the customization is really bad even without the MTX shop and battle pass, netcode is still terrible, Ranked is still full of cheaters and boosters, and even the chip damage via the Heat system is bad as you can actually gain health back from dealing chip damage. Mortal Kombat has chip damage but it never helps you regain health (and both MK11 and MK1 actually toned down the chip damage with the Last Breath mechanic), and team-based fighting games have recoverable health but you can only regain health if you tag out or using a one-time only mechanic. So even the gameplay in T8 very flawed. And regarding Soul Calibur, SC6 actually sold 5 million. While it still doesn't that SC7 will arrive or that will be good, it gives SC7 a better chance to make it.

Well Marduk is the next DLC according to the Datamine if it's any consolation.

I could see why the game could be hated by others. Heat Same characters in rank(king,Mishima,drag,azcusna, etc) Rage quitters I mean list goes on but as a returning tekken player I prefer tekken 6 over 8 😅

I rage quit yesterday just because there’s too many hackers with auto blocking and cheese gameplay. Im slowly getting tired of this game that i fall in love on the first sight.
