Easy trick.
I loved this act.
hahhahaha love the lies
If this trick fails to entertain the audience, it can, at any given moment, be switched to 'Jeopardy Excuses'... "I'll take 'Your call is important to us" for $600, Eric" Great trick, I don't have a clue how it was done, very cool! Love it!
I know how he did it!! 😂*lie
Interest and amusing phrases ensuring that no one got board! Here’s a lie you could have used: when I’m on the internet ‘COOKIES’ and ‘PRIVACY’ statements do not piss me off at all!
@Eric_Samuels while I enjoyed your routine, this particular trick has been done before-- and in fact has been done by other mentalists on Fool Us. There's no way they were going to be fooled by a trick they've seen before, and on their own show. Were you not aware of this, or did you figure the exposure on the show is worth being busted for? I'm curious because you're not the first magician to go on Fool Us to perform a trick that has been done before. You have the best chance of fooling P&T by inventing a new routine, or changing the method on an existing effect.
What happened to the audio?
Teller's face at 2:55. I love watching how much he loves watching these acts. Even though he's got most of them figured out, he still acts like a little kid seeing them for the first time. Absolutely love it.
excellent trick well done
Alyson... URAQT.
whatever you choose it's gonna be the truth
The claps on "Mommy and daddy, we were just wrestling" tell you where Americans are today!
Nigerians have suffered 😂😂😂😂
Good mentalist routine
They shouldn't have been that direct
Parental lie id prefer “daddy will be home with the milk shortly”
I loved this trick too... And I loved the way you wrote it... Very entertaining, thanks so much for sharing it!!!
Wood grain in the top row gives it away!
Holy shit I just realised that’s the chick from how I met your mother
Talking slowly vs Talking Fast is the trick to making them pick. Simple but effective. Classic mentalist force
Good guess but it's far simpler. This isn't using any mentalism techniques. The final cards are already in the top 5 slots, just flipped. He does a double lift at the end. That's why Penn talks about there being 25 cards on the board, not forces.
Lol his reaction at 4:40
this was so funny! Had me laughing throughout. One of my fav acts on the show
Cool
Haven't watched it yet, but thank you for not spoiling it in the title
Research? The bible clearly says every man is a liar only the word of God is true.
Damn, I predicted 4 out of 5 guesses. That was fun by itself.
Very Cool Indeed!
thumbs up just for the text on cards, sadly they're all true. I'm so fed up with people who make up lies, because they don't have the guts to tell the truth. Those are literally the things that people say when they just don't give a Sh1t about the person they are telling this to, but they just lack the guts to speak their mind.
let me explain this. it possibly happened that whatever people choose the "word" games are already preplanned so there must be a meaningful word will be created at the end like this time "truth". silly tricks if anyone can apply little brain can catch it. this is quite same as most mentalists have "multiple solutions" just need to show that matches selected data or number. mostly these are preplanned and choice given but "stop card" they just control to come to same every time (not this magic but other mentalists do). well i should say very carefully this man here pulled out words below final line though it sounds like "open" with o p e and n in random order. if pulled cards also matches anyone can catch him so he needs to bring random characters that does not mean any english word like "gfein" for example. so he needs to memorize which paper is showing as example carefully. also i guess submininal message in more clearly visible here like black lady choose adorable baby cause she loved baby. some other cases humor selection works like normal deck of cards and mommy daddy wrestling. what if mommy daddy wrestling or any other choices in same line all have same word "T" behind them ? whatever selected will result in same letter or character right ?
First Time i catch how the trick is done while it's been performed. But good act
Could you explain it please?
@@MatheusHenrique-gt2iv the choice is forced by the way he talks. All the choices he didn't want them to pick you can see he just read them without pauses and the same tone of voice. In the choices he want them to pick he makes a pause somewhere in the middle of the sentence making it funnier in a subliminal way. That's why penn says there were 25 lies in there, because he forced all the choices. The act is done smoothly though
@@girardellimarco4255 I'm pretty sure that's not correct. I'm also fairly sure that I figured it out :)
I don’t like mentalist acts either typically but this was a good one.
Shit, I thought it was 40. Damn.
Mentalism tricks are always boring as hell, to me. But this trick is probably one of my favorites. I loved everything about it.
13 times a day.... they never met my wife
omg haha
He said "Have a nice day" in the end which he previously mentioned as a lie😂😂
It is called comedy, get with it!
Yeah that's boss lol
“Have a nice day” isnt a lie. “I hope you have a nice day” however, could be 🤓
Think I just found a better one: "Thanks, I really needed that."
So how did he do it?
Dunno why Penn & Teller dislike mentalists, just because mentalism is not what they do. Just like escapologists don't really escape from impossible handcuffs..... I suppose "illusionists" are acknowledging that they use an illusion to fool you, so their job title is correct. Actually I only dislike those people who communicate (for money) with relatives who have passed. That is quite a cruel deception. And this guy was so likeable & entertaining..... and not all (say) card magicians are entertaining, though they might be technically brilliant.
LIEEEEE..The check's in the mail, Your baby is so cute, I can't wait to read your book, Ross
😆 (I felt like the Chandler Bing emoji belonged here as a response)
haha!
yes. simple and god honest laugh. :) i spoke truth. ;)
Really fun trick man, entertaining from the beginning to the end!
See this is a simple trick but far more entertaining and engaging than a lot of the foolers. What else does one want as an audience. Amazing
agree
I don't care how a trick is done. I enjoy the flourish and a well executed sligh of hand. This man has a neat trick. Old methodoligy. Nice banter.
I like the part where he stood there reading cards off a board. 🙄
Just curious, Eric, do you sell this routine?
5:31 Dr House over there
Where
I feel like I picked up on his technique just for the last one because I assumed he was influencing all of them, and I actually correctly guessed which one she'd pick. I probably just got lucky...
No one’s gonna get “board” of that trick ;)
that's a lie. lol
@@linkydinkydoodledumplin You're good at speaking in code too.
